Good value downtown Livorno

Great value for money right downtown Livorno. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast included with helpful service. Lack of drawer space or shelves. No elevator so needed help with suitcases, which was freely given. Also there was a step up into the bathroom, so a trip hazard in the night. Overall we were very satisfied and chose to stay again on a return visit. Recommendation: try the Cafe Duomo for dinner, just a short block away.

Booked this hotel as we had a very early ferry next morning. Check-in and our was friendly, but came with some surprise charges which we could pay for with credit card. Would not recommend this for other families.

Good budget hotel.

As a place to stay for one night - we were in Livorno for a concert - it was fine. Good location for shops, cafes and markets. 2 great cheese shops nearby. Entry lobby does not give a good impression with clutter & untidiness but rest of hotel is ok. Room was clean & modern and comfortable, but noise from hard floors/rooms upstairs made it difficult for a rest before going out. It was ok at night though. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Good price and to have breakfast included was a bonus. Minor annoyance was being locked out of hotel in late afternoon for an hour. We never received an explanation.

Notte di passaggio a Livorno per prendere una nave. A parte la centralità dell'ubicazione l'hotel lascia molto a desiderare. Vecchio e poco curato. Moquette vecchia, condizionatore rumoroso e inefficace e stanza molto poco curata. Il personale è cortese, ma i limiti della struttura sono evidenti. Almeno pulito. Buona la possibilità di lasciare l'auto in un garage chiuso a pagamento, ma con prezzi concorrenziali rispetto ai dintorni. Buona la colazione.

Strategico e piacevole

Posizione in zona a traffico limitato ma basta dare la targa alla reception e non si hanno problemi. Pochi passi e si gira per Livorno città; lontane le zone bagni a mare. Piacevole movida serale a pochi passi.

Albergo in posizione difficile da raggiungere, perché in ZTL e nell'area del mercato. L'accoglienza è stata buona, la biancheria ineccepibile, la camera, arredata in modo minimale, era pulita, ma il bagno purtroppo era maleodorante. Prezzo conveniente.

Hotel Città

Non avevamo programmato di fare una tappa a Livorno il 9 di agosto quindi non avevano prenotato nulla, dopo una lunga e vana ricerca abbiamo trovato questo hotel. Non dovrebbe avere neanche due di stelle, zona porto e comoda al centro ma per il resto tutto negativo. Appena si entra , se non già da fuori si vede il degrado dell'hotel era dagli anni '80 che non vedevo più un letto con le molle. Arredi scadenti e stanze molto rumorose, la colazione con prodotti confezionati in una stanza caldissima adibita a "sala colazione ".. L'asciugacapelli a parete non funzionante, insomma un vero disastro se avessi trovato un altro hotel saremmo andati via!!

Empfehlenswertes Altstadthotel

Mitten in Livorno ein uriges Altstadthotel mit nostalgischem Charme und sehr freundlichem, hilfsbereitem Personal. Garagenplatz unbedingt dazu buchen da ansonsten keine Parkmöglichkeit. Ins Zentrum 2 Minuten Fußweg. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Klimaanlage sehr gut, was bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr wichtig war (tagsüber 36°), Parkmöglichkeiten wenig. An Markttagen laut ab etwa 5:30, insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.
