"Everything was fine although a bit outdated but comfortable and clean We had a late check in past 10pm due to ferry crossing and it wasn't very clear on booking that there would be an additional fee for this"

"The hotel is well maintained and presented. It feels recently refurbed. The room was good and the bed was super comfy! We had a rear facing room and it was very peaceful. The staff were bright and cheerful from the moment they met us to the moment we departed - that’s all staff, by the way, that we met. The entrance to the car park is tight but fine if you go slow and reverse a little to square up for the drive in. Excellent shopping / anmenities in town too. Overall, a very pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family locally. Will use again!"

"We had a suite overlooking the sea which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of milk to have with your tea/coffee. We would definitely stay there again. Only negative was not having a safe."

"An excellent stay at the Rose and Crown. Super convenient in the centre of town with a public car park about 100yards away. The room was great, very clean and well furnished. Shower was good and facilities in the room fine"

"Clean and tidy. Coffee and tea available. Shower and toilet across the hall. Nice breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location with some parking outside and car park across the road. The only negative is the decor is a little tired."
