Wi-Fi was somewhat weak even though the hotel promotes their Wi-Fi connectivity. Phones had a harder time connecting to Wi-Fi than laptops.

It’s the third time we stayed at this Hotel as we really love the staff and location. The Hotel does not have AC in the rooms but the beds are very comfortable and there are ceiling fans. Private free parking is a block away!

Lovely 3* hotel definitely in the top percentile of that category. Superb room with excellent bathroom and all super clean. Glorious restaurant in the old chapel. Very atmospheric and with delicious food and a very good wine list. Generous and welcoming staff and all at a very reasonable price.

The hotel was in a magnificent building with an equally magnificent team looking after it. The maitre d' was excellent for dinner and Ana was very helpful in printing our forms and also advising on which roads to drive the next day in the El Picos. Look after that pretty little mini Ana.

Great time at Don Paco and in Llanes. Hotel was delightful and the Llanes area is absolutely beautiful! Don Paco is an ideal place to stay in Llanes.

Our check-in was offered a little early, which was great. Parking available right out front of the hotel during check-in and then free parking as part of the stay about a block up the road in a sister property, the Montmarte. The best was the hotel app that you can download to get information not only on the hotel but in the surrounding area. We received a free cocktail coupon and we enjoyed it on their patio which overlooked the main street. It is close to everything, including the in-town beach and they provided beach towels. Our safe did not work but they were able to give us a safe to use near the front desk, with our own key. Very helpful and enjoyable staff. Breakfast was good in the hotel and the breakfast room was beautiful.

Stayed here twice, coming and going on the Camino. Excellent stay. Beautiful, loved sitting by the sycamores on walkway in the evening and watching the world go by.

A friendly seasidh haveclose to the mountains, too
Hotel Don Paco is a perfect small, friendly, family-oriented hotel in an adorable seaside town. The service was truly notable. Llanes is a great location for a vacation. Besides enjoying the town itself, and going on easily findable coastal walks, you can make excursions into the Picos de Europa Park.

Great overnight stop
Great hotel - would definitely stay here again. We found the Hotel carpark by accident and was great that it was free. All the staff spoke very good english. Lots of restaurants were shut as it was a Monday so decided to eat in the Hotel restaurant. It was a shame it was so quiet but the staff were amazingly friendly, efficicient and courteous ( thanks Jaime) and the starter portion was so huge that we didn’t get to try the desert! Was still full the next morning so didn’t try the breakfast.

Excellent throughout.
An excellent stay. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculate, well organised. The room and fittings were excellent. Breakfast superb although a little pricey for Spain. Staff helpful accommodating, very smart and pleasant. The only very minor criticism was that the car park was 50 metres away although there was a special walkway to pull cases along to the hotel.

Everything was great, friendly service and excellent rooms. But the sound isolation within the building is light, so if you are overly sensitive to normal noises (doors opening/closing, running shower, etc) beware.

This hotel surpassed all our expectations.
From the day we arrived until the day we left, we were pleasantly surprised. We travelled with our baby daughter. First impressions count and the receptionist rushed outside the entrance to help us with our bags. From that point on, customer service was to the forefront. Well done to all.

Interesting hotel fabulous location
Chose Llanes as halfway stopover between Santiago and San Sebastián. We were so surprised at what a beautiful place it is. Suggest a trip to Playa de Poo as it is spectacular. The medieval village and beach promenade made for great sightseeing. Don’t miss this town which has mountains one side and rugged coastline on the other.

Absolute Gem
For a 3 star Hotel, it was fantastic, staff were so helpful and friendly, all spoke English in varying degrees. Rooms were very tastefully decorated, single room actually had a queen size bed with lovely quality linens. Bathroom was huge, modern and spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Restaurant was 1st class for dinner and breakfast, center of town but rooms were very quiet. Building was formerly a monastery built around 1650, so lots of historical interest. Highly recommend.

Central hotel.
The hotel was well placed and our room was beautifully serviced every day. We had some reservations about the value for money even with the proviso that we stayed in high season. The TV was tiny and placed high on the wall - we're big fans of the Tour de France and this made watching the end of stages tricky! The size of bed to size of room was disproportionate; there would have been more room for a couple of comfortable chairs with a queen bed. There were also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or provided without charge. Compared to other hotels at the same price it was a bit basic.
