"This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay. Lovely decor on the inside like an old coach house, would highly recommend staying here"

"Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible via public transit if that is your only option. The hotels food was actually very good and balanced and I always looked forward to eating there for a reasonable price after a long day"

"The propieter was very helpful in that he came out of the property to meet us on arrival and carried my case up to the top floor when I asked for assistance, i am almost 78 yrs old with back problems. It was raining heavy outside so, as the house is an old stone one, it was very cold on the top floor and the heating was on a timer which meant it was cold in the room most of the time. The walk in large shower in the bathroom was lovely but, overall, I think the property was ideal for younger people seeking budget accomodation whilst they went cycling or climbing etc but, not really suitable for pensioners."

"The property is one kilometre from the edge of Betws y Coed town Centre. There’s a lot of space in this comfortable property. A real highlight is the wallpaper behind the dining table which is an OS map – genius! That was so useful. We’d recommend walking up and around. Llyn Elsi reservoir and another walk along the river to the ugly house and swallow balls. The white horse in. Capel Gamon was excellent."
