We loved our stay here. The location was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Food was great. Rooms were clean and comfy. Be aware that there are three floors and no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be for others. Overall, highly recommend the Inn!

Old building with hip, hostel-like decor. Only two rooms on the 5th floor and they're up in the attic dormers. Elevator stops at level four! Room was clean and the cleaning lady was very attentive. Give her a raise. No carpet in the room. Some kind of squeaky veneer. (Sorry, 401). Comfortable twin beds with no squeaks. Heat/AC worked silently. Desk is one college kid like you'd expect in a hostel. Old hidden stone spiral staircase goes all the way up to fifth. Great shower. Quiet fridge.
Breakfast crew at bar next door were nice but didn't seem like they cared too much about our eating experience. Nice cold spread at the bar and the staff will bring you hot food if you remind them it's their job. "Menu? Oh! Yeah.". But they were pleasant about it. Maybe an early morning staffing issue with a sleep-in manager. Busy night.

"Loved this hotel! The location was perfect for our adventure. Right across from the Scott monument, a few minutes walk from the Waverly bus stop and a few minutes from the Royal mile.
