"Had a lovely stay while away with work. The food was amazing and it is a beautiful building, with so much character.
All the staff were very friendly and professional, especially Glen who runs the hotel excellently!
Thank you for a great stay, I'll definitely see you again when I'm next up that way :-)

"Beautiful property in lovely quiet location, perfect for exploring North Cumbria. Everything you need and more in the cottage and host very welcoming."
"Absolutly gorgous hut, really quaint and quirky. Perfect bit of outdoor space with decking and grass for our dog. Lovely size hot tub and comfy bed.
Stunning views and perfect location for nice long walks. Local pub does beautiful food on a evening.
Only issue is that there could be a sign somewhere to advise where to turn off to get to the huts as we found it difficult to find.
We had a lovely, relaxibg few days, we would love to return."

"We received a warm welcome from Alison, who provided a clean, quiet and comfortable twin room (en-suite) for me and my son.
Breakfast was delicious and included Scottish additions which I hadn't tried before: Lorne (square sausage) and haggis.
I would highly recommend a visit to the Village Inn, and we will definitely return if in the area again."
"What a gem. Didnt know this place existed but so glad we found it.
Jennifer and Paige were superstars, full of smiles and very welcoming. Just what weneeded after a drive from Weymouth.
Food was very well presented and exceeded expectations.
Tranquil and expansive grounds for dogs to run around. No traffic.
Good for them.
We would recommend and will definitely go back."
"I love this hotel in the hills. It's so convenient to start or end a long trip up to further away bits of Scotland. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable and the views are stunning across the fields and hills. It's very quiet and has all I need. "
"First impression were great, plenty of parking, very friendly staff. Room clean but slightly tired. That drawback was more than made up for by the amazing food. We the steak pie and the clam chowder. Both were fantastic, very tasty very filling. Breakfast the next day was great as well. Will be back if we're ever in the area."
"Lovely break , visiting family for a birthday.
Very friendly and engaging host.
It was a nice to chat to other guests over breakfast who are regulars.
Good breakfast and wonderful view.
