    The Neighborhood:

Fitzrovia is one of central London's best-kept secrets — quieter than Soho, more characterful than Marylebone, and extraordinarily well connected. Charlotte Street is the heartbeat of the neighbourhood, lined with some of London's most celebrated restaurants: Roka, The Ninth, Clipstone, and Bonnie Gull all within a short walk. The area has a genuinely local feel that most central London neighbourhoods have long since lost.

Oxford Street, Regent Street, and Liberty are under 5 minutes on foot. Soho, Covent Garden, and the British Museum are all walkable. The BT Tower anchors the skyline — a reminder you're in the centre of everything.

    Getting Around:

•Underground — Tottenham Court Road (3 min walk) serves the Central, Northern, and Elizabeth lines. Oxford Circus (9 min walk) adds the Victoria and Bakerloo lines. Goodge Street (9 min walk) for a quieter Northern line entrance

•National & international rail — Euston and King's Cross St Pancras both under 15 minutes by tube. Eurostar to Paris and Brussels direct from St Pancras

•Buses & taxis — frequent red bus routes on Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. Black cabs and Uber/Bolt always available

•Cycling — Santander Cycles docking stations on nearby Berners Street and Great Portland Street

•On foot — Soho, Marylebone, Covent Garden, and the West End all walkable from the front door

The location of the flat is ideal. Tucked behind the main street it is certainly quieter than being on Oxford. The unit was everything we needed for our 5 day stay in London. Easy walk to the tube and walking distance from plenty of pubs and shops. Our group of five was comfortable in the space. Because we are not from the UK we had a little difficulty with the temperature regulation and the hot water tank. Frankie was very responsive and helped very quickly. The unit is on the third floor with no lift (as advertised) but the steps were steep and not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. Currently, there is a huge construction project right outside the windows. They don’t start until 8am, but becomes extremely noisy promptly at 8am. We were up early to sightsee so not too disruptive, but if you like to sleep in it will wake you up. All-in-all a good stay.
