Great central location ! - with Aircon for the hot summer * Designed by a well-known fashion designer to be the perfect home from home to escape the buzz of central London. This non smoking large apartment of 60 sq m sleeps up to 6 and is in a historical London building near the very center of London . We are near Borough market and there many good restaurants and pubs nearby and good value .

Newly refurbished with 5 star fun contemporary comfort and famous art , this beautiful family holiday rental is 2 large double bedrooms - one with 2 extra mezzanine double beds 4/5 beds, great for families !

There are 2 en-suite shower rooms which is a huge luxury in London and a large beautiful light living room with famous art on the walls a large dining table to seat 8 and a well equipped kitchen.

We have fast Wifi internet wall mounted TV in the bedrooms and a big TV in the living room.

The apartment is very peaceful light and warm .

Central London is very close. Kennington tube /subway and Elephant and castle are in zone 1 and only 5 mins walk away. There are many great Old English pubs and restaurants nearby to amuse you, we have a very well stocked supermarket and good food markets nearby.

Transport around London could not be better with subways, buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben and London Bridge are only 20 mins walk.

We had a wonderful experience here - the flat is amazing and just as advertised. It was comfortable, clean, well-stocked, quiet (surprisingly), and in a great location near public transit.Matthew was very responsive before the actual stay (we didn't need him during our time there because everything was perfect) and allowed us to drop our luggage off early, which was a lifesaver.Five adults had a fantastic stay here, and we all highly recommend this property!

Very awesome stay!

Great place to stay! Very cool and great location. Very well stocked and clean. My family loved our time. Easy to get to great pubs and the tube station. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay

Great location, cozy and comfortable. We had 5 in our party, 2 adults and 3 older teen boys and all were comfortable. Love the 2 bathrooms. Easy walk to subway and quick to get to attractions. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Perfect quaint London stay

We were in London for two nights and the location was great, close to two tube stations. We were able to explore the city and then get back to rest before dinner with little travel time. The place was clean, neatly organized, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved it, and the bunks were perfect for the kids! It's an awesome place, and I highly recommend it!

Weekend with the girls

Clean and comfortable. Lots of nice touches (shampoo, hair dryer, straighteners) in the bathrooms and nicely stocked kitchen so we didn’t need to buy things like salt, coffee, tea etc. we stayed 2 nights and mostly ate out. Toulouse Lautrec restaurant below the apartment does a great breakfast/brunch!Great location and we would definitely return!

Clean and airy, host was most accommodating as we arrived early. Very comfortable beds. There are steps in the apartment, and would suggest installing a rail at the very top of the outside stairs.

beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to public transport

This lovely apartment was perfect for two couples traveling together. It was in a quiet, more residential area and an easy walk to the metro stop that we used to arrive from the airport as well as used many times to get around London . Washer and dry unit was typical. Check-in was easy via email from the owner. The restaurant next store was FANTASTIC! We ate there twice and it was almost the best food we had on our trip.. Highly recommend.

Good location, between tube stops at Kennington and Elephant & Castle. Easy neighborhood to walk -- felt safe. Well stocked kitchen. Suggestion: for non-Brits unused to appliances, leave instructions for stove top and for washing machine. Everything was as advertised. Enjoyed it.

In the heart of London

We arrived a few hours early and the host was willing to give us access into the building. It was a hot summer day and an exhaustive international travel, the air conditioned rooms which is rare in the UK, was like water on a dry and thirsty land. The host was nice and responsive to our requests. The location is close to Tesco and every other amenities as advertised. I will definitely recommend.

Great location, clean, and quiet

My family stayed in Matthew's flat for a week while we were in London, and it was a great place to stay. The flat was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were extremely quiet, despite the apartment being next door to a jazz club. The location worked well for us as a home base from which we either walked or took public transit all over the city. Several small grocery stores were within a couple of blocks. Matthew was very responsive in his communication.

Stay was good.

The place was as listed. Nicely decorated, area was good. We like to walk so distance to everything as good. Out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Only reason for 4/5 is the smell upon arrival was overwhelming of days-old-trash, this lingered into day 2 of our 3 days. But host was quick to respond and remedy the situation. This would not deterred from staying again based on stellar communication and quick action.

Great location!

This unit was clean and decorated well. I love the beams in the unit. The beds were comfortable with my husband and I in one room and our three young adult children in the other. It was a bit warm until we opened the windows in the living room which made a world of difference. There are also fans, washer/ dryer, hair dryer etc in the unit. It’s in a great location in the city. Near underground stations and within short drives of most of the tourist destinations. We would definitely stay here again if we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity again!

Fantastic experience

The entire process from start to finish was excellent. Don’t the outside of the building fool you…this is a true gem and it was perfect for our short family stay in London. Situated right next to a swanky jazz/piano bar and 10-15 min away from bustling markets and London bridge, this was a perfect location nestled between multiple neighborhoods pubs. Unit was clean, neat and and matched the description 100%. Communication with the host was flawless and they were extremely accommodating with early check-in requests. Could not be more pleased and will absolutely recommend it for 4-6 people comfortably.

Great little flat in a great spot

Great little flat. Everything we needed for a short city break. The location is perfect, with a bus stop literally just outside, we were able to jump a bus to Borough Market with ease. Kennington Tube is literally just down the road. Amazing value, and much better than staying at a hotel. The flat itself was quite quirky in the best way. There was tea and coffee available, which was much needed, plenty of towels, and certainly the bed I slept in was very comfy. Could not have asked for more. Will def come again. Thank you

Eclectic London Spot

We just spent 3 nights in this great Kennington spot. Location: Easy walk to Tube. Food markets, restaurants and pubs just steps away. Lay Out: Large kitchen at the front of the unit which keeps things nice and quiet for anyone sleeping in the back bedrooms. This is great for a jet-lagged family when someone awakes at 3am to make breakfast while others are still sleeping. BONUS: Really good French restaurant downstairs with an attached Jazz club, Toulouse Lautrec. On our last night we caught an Irish variety show - comedy/music - and felt like locals. Then were able to simply walk upstairs to bed.

Needs: Laundry pods, paper towels, instructions for washer/dryer, heating system, and coffee pot. Info guide of the area. Frying pans need to be replaced. Chairs too tall for the table. Poorly labeled bathroom toiletries. Better organization inside cupboards. Good location. Happy we could leave our luggage there early - very helpful.

Clean space

Very clean flat with plenty of space for the four of us. Table was difficult to sit at for a meal with design of table and the living room chair has deteriorated in quality since photos were taken but still comfortable. No communication from owner that someone was coming at 7:30 in the morning to check a utility resulted in uncomfortable and awkward situation but owner responded quickly to message about it. Liked the proximity to pubs, grocery market and metro

Great place

Very nice for touring around London. Close to Kennington and Elephant and Circus stations. Market close by and restaurants. One flight of stairs though there are little ups and downs in the apartment itself. The bedrooms are quite with air con which was important since London is so very hot right now. Main room does not have air but we weren’t there much. Very clean, nice kitchen, washing machine. Needed a few more hangers in closet, being picky. Great communication with Matthew. I would stay here again and recommend.
