Bright and Elegant 2 Bedroom Flat Near Notting Hill
This fabulous garden flat is located close to great transport links, Notting Hill, and many great restaurants and bars. The flat has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and is a perfect place to stay for up to four people looking for a spacious place in a quiet neighbourhood, with Central London just half an hour away by tube. It is composed of two double bedrooms, a stylish modern bathroom and a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
The sunny front bedroom has a large bay window with white plantation shutters for privacy, a spacious wooden cupboard and drawers for storage and a new, good quality mattress. The second bedroom has french doors that provide access to the garden, and two single beds with new good quality mattresses that can be converted into a double bed if desired. The stylish bathroom is tiled throughout, has underfloor heating and a walk in waterfall shower. At the back of the property is the modern open plan, living, kitchen and dining area, with huge glass sliding doors which open onto a pretty English country garden. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need should you feel like cooking. A Nespresso machine and coffee pods are provided. The modern dining table will seat 4 people. The sunny patio looks out onto a very pretty garden where you are welcome to sit out and relax. The living area has two comfortable sofas and an armchair for relaxing after a busy day in London. All beds are made up using white hotel quality linen and large fluffy white towels and toiletries are provided.
The flat has great transport links, with the central line a 10 minute walk away at White City station, and Wood Lane station on the Hammersmith and City or Circle line just a few minutes further. If you fancy the scenic route into town, the number 7 bus stop is at the top of the road, and will take you to Oxford Street, the main shopping street in London, via Portobello Road, which is otherwise a 15 minute walk away.
Portobello Market is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for antiques, bric a brac and vintage clothing, though it is a thriving area any day of the week. The huge Westfield shopping centre is a 15 minute walk away or a few minutes on the bus. For young families there are many parks nearby. Little Wormwood Scrubs is minutes away and has a great adventure playground. Big Wormwood Scrubs, one of the few wild open spaces left in London, is great for runners, walkers and nature lovers alike. Regent's Park, (home to London Zoo) and Holland Park are easily accessible.

We enjoyed this lovely spacious flat located in a friendly neighborhood with grocery & restaurants within a short walk. The beautiful private patio and garden was enchanting. 5+
Julie's apartment is just absolutely beautiful and oh, so comfortable! It's in a great location for Notting Hill and easy access to the tube. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. The bath has huge, fluffy bath towels. The bed linens are wonderfully comfy. And Julie is just the easiest and most pleasant person. My friend and I loved staying here and hated to go. Do not even hesitate. Rent this apartment! You will never regret it!
My spouse and I spent 4 nights in the wonderful, bright lovely property. We could not have been happier as the description of the property was accurate and in many areas the property exceeded our expectations. Overall it was outstanding.
We stayed 6 days in Julie´s lovely apartment and absolutely loved it! The apartment is quiet and peaceful and well equipped with everything you need. It is set up with great sense for design and comfort. The location is close to 2 underground lines, a super market and a bis shopping center.
Julie is a great host and I hope to come again soon.
I stayed here with friends for about a week. It was a comfortable place and communication with Julie was fast and easy. We appreciated the kitchen, which had everything we needed, even coffee pods! Likewise, in the house there were nice additions for guests like umbrellas. It was a quiet neighbourhood.
The listing location said “near Notting Hill”, which we assumed meant a few minutes away. Actually, it is about a 20min bus from Notting Hill/a 10 min walk to White City station.
The beds were comfortable. Being from North America, just know that the 2 single beds are the smaller European single size, but still comfortable.
The apt was exceptionally clean and roomy for my daughter and me during our stay in London. Julie provided some tea in the pantry which was a welcome treat after a day of sight-seeing. Julie and her husband were very helpful and friendly. One improvement might be to list area grocery stores and restaurants for guests that would be within walking distance of the property.
An issue in the apt was the dryer which did not thoroughly dry our clothes, even after long drying cycles.
Our overall rating of the property is very good, clean and welcoming.

Parken direkt vor dem Haus auf öffentlicher Straße ist möglich und angenehm, kostet aber 20£ pro Tag, was für London wohl günstig ist (kann mit Kreditkarte gezahlt werden).
Wir mit dem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden und werden gerne wieder kommen.

Amazing London
Make a long story short, lovely apartment with lovely owners! Thanks for hosting us.
All is exactly as described.What for a wounderfull place within London. It took us approx. 30 min to down down. Also shops in 5 to 10 min walking distances available.
Once we plan our next trip to London we will asked again to stay there.
