The Apartment
A lovely, light and airy apartment with two double bedrooms in a beautiful Victorian terraced house in the heart of beautiful Notting Hill. Recently decorated and with access to magical private gardens so you can live out your Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts fantasy without having to climb over the fence! On a quiet street but very near hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. Live the film!

The apartment sleeps four comfortably in two equal sized double bedrooms with queen beds. Perfect for two couples or a family with kids (of any age!).

Neighbourhood overview
For those who have seen the film Notting Hill, they won't need explaining what makes it a picture postcard perfect example of London at its best. Tree lines streets, old Victorian gas lamps, magical communal gardens between each block, charming pubs, trendy restaurants and bars, Portobello with its world famous antique shops plus Westbourne Grove with its designer boutiques. I could go on for ever...

Getting around
And also really convenient for central London. A 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, a 15 minutes walk to High Street Kensington and its shopping. A 20 minutes walk to Westfield and its huge shopping centre. And a 25 minute bus ride (or 15 minute subway/tube) to Marble Arch and Oxford street.

I live in a different house so apart from giving keys and answering any questions you will have the house to yourself. But I am always on email or phone should you need anything - such as a recommendation for dinner or even a good play to see in the West End!

Perfect stay!

Great Stay!

Great location, a few blocks to Tube, easy and direct route. Quite apt and very nice deep tub! Great restaurants nearby not to mention shopping. Loved the private garden too!

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed this property as it had everything we could want. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Notting Hill and is still close to the Tube. Tass was very friendly and helpful, one of the best hosts I have encountered!

Feels like home

This was our third stay at 14 Arundel Gardens, and we continue to love it. The garden view from the living room and the sunrise view from the bedroom offer a peaceful connection with nature— even on a rainy January day.

Trip of a lifetime!

I have always wanted to visit London. My son and I wanted to stay in Notting Hill since it was convenient to so many shops, restaurants, and close to the Tube. The property was clean and whenever we had questions the owner responded immediately.

Quiet/Great location

Much to see and do in the Portobello Road area and this flat is right around the corner. It is up 3 flights of stairs if that matters to you. Kitchen is well equipped and everything you need for your stay is provided. Great communication and house manager met us for check in.

Great B&B option

Great location and authentic to the area. Close to excellent restaurants and pubs and Portobello market. Apartment has a nice vibe and is well set up. Bonus is the garden access.

Wonderful Stay!

This brightly lighted flat has nearby grocery stores, a book store, a butcher, bakeries, liquor stores, flower stand, and restaurants-- everything one could need. The flat was great. Bedding was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the lounge spacious. We stayed for 5 1/2 weeks and had a grand time. We look forward to returning. Our host Tass was friendly, attentive and responsive.

Great stay in Notting Hill

We had a great stay here! Tass was very responsive and provided recommendations for things to see and do and great places to eat and drink! We arrived before check-in time and were able to drop off our bags while they were finishing up cleaning, which was really helpful. The apartment is in a great location and was perfect for exploring London for a few days.

Lovely flat, Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay with our 10 year old at the flat in November. It had pretty much everything we needed to be comfortable and the location could not be more perfect. The beds were great and the flat was very cozy - I was worried about it being chilly in November but it was warm. It was super easy to get to the Tube and bus lines and was very close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Perfect Notting Hill stay

Wonderful location and beautiful property. Loved waking to Notting Hill shops and markets each day. Also easy to access the London sites we wished to visit. Garden was also lovely to explore. A true London experience for this Aussie family of 4. Great communication from host too.

Very enjoyable stay

We had a great stay. Communication with Tass was very easy and prompt. The apartment was great for our group of three and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the garden, something we felt was very English. The location was ideal, with buses and a couple of tube options being within easy walking distance. We were able to get around London very easily.

We were so comfortable in this flat with everything we needed, great windows with a gentle breeze, cozy but spacious enough for four of us, really good shower. When we were out for the day we all felt happy to be home again!

Great location!

Great location in nice neighborhood. We were 2 older ladies and felt safe walking in early evening around the neighborhood. Underground and bus services are a 5-10 minute walk for access to all major tourist destinations. Good restaurants pubs and Portobello street market are 5-10 min walk.

Good on a budget!

The Booking and check in were fine. And we chose this location because of the reviews, which were great! We decided not to stay here - when we arrived we made other plans and left. This just wasn’t to our standards. But that is my error, the price was very affordable which matches the establishment. For someone on a budget this is fine, my daughter had chose for us on a budget. I am little bit older and like my amenities!! So not the fault of the VRBO, just the fault of me not checking. It’s a fine place for the price!

This I a great place. The owner Tass is so nice and accommodating. If you have any questions or concerns he will respond pretty swiftly. Unfortunately for me I was not able to stay but my friend was. Notting Hill adventures
