GuestReady - Comfort by the Thames

  • Welcome!

This fantastic apartment is just 34 minutes by tube from Central London. My home is open for holidaymakers and business travellers who want to explore one of London's most historical sites, the Greenwich Meridian Line!

The property is located on the 8th floor, with lift access. It comprises two bedrooms and an open living space. Please note that the balcony is not accessible and remains restricted for use.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob, oven, and all the mod cons for a satisfactory meal. There is a 2-person dining table and a sitting area with a plush couch and TV to watch some soaps on the BBC.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a king bed. All beds come with complimentary hotel-quality linens.

The bathrooms have all the basics: a shower, toilet, sink, and mirror; only one has a bathtub. Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided for your convenience.

Enjoy your stay and time in London!

    - Please note that the dishwasher is currently out of service.

Greenwich is a borough in London, England, on the banks of the River Thames. Known for its maritime history, it's home to the Cutty Sark, a restored 19th-century ship, the vast National Maritime Museum, and the classical buildings of the Old Royal Naval College. The modern O2 arena sits on a peninsula to the north. Overlooking peaceful Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory is the site of the Greenwich meridian line.

It's easy to get around London through the city's underground. The nearest tube station close to my home is North Green, a 12-minute walk to get to and connects to the Jubilee line. Alternatively, buses (161, 108 and 472) are available as well.

Furthermore, London City Airport is very nearby and takes only 14 minutes by car to get to.

This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in anytime of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (15:00 on the day).

If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 smoking fee, at minimum. Please also note we do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

Perfect for our requirements : It was a really good size and perfect for me and my 18 yr old son to have seperate bedrooms and bathrooms. We needed a fridge too, so the litchenette was great, and it felt cosy. It was also within walking distance to the O2 Arena Bathroom with the bath was slightly dark, needs a bit more lighting.

Pobyt uważam za udany i mimo kilku uwag poleciłabym ten apartament. Positive: Znakomita lokalizacja

I enjoyed my stay and despite a few comments would recommend this flat Excellent location close to tube station. Spacious apartment with views over the Thames. Well equipped kitchenette and two bathrooms added points to the rating. Broken balcony door. Chilly in the flat. I think the bathrooms could do with a refurbishment too.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
First the good stuff:The unit was pretty clean where it most counted. The kitchen was niceWe liked the location and felt safe.Right along the Thames river so a nice walk and view.We had good responses from the management Now the not so good stuff:One of the toilets had hair/dirt on the outside part of bowl (gross)Balcony table had not been cleaned for some time. Old soiled drinks rings, etc. Also, the clear walls of the balcony railing were filthy. We wanted to vacuum up a bit after a couple of days, but the vacuums didn't work well. I had to partially disassemble one to clean out the debris so the rollers would turn. One of the bedroom windows would not open. It was quite warm when we were there and there was no air conditioning. At least they provided a fan which helped. The patio door was broken and would not shut completely or lock. We notified management, but nothing was done our week long stay. The patio door was filthy. Grimy hand prints all over it. Also the gasket on the door was coming off, but that really didn't matter since it wouldn't shut anyhow.Overall, it was a good place. I would stay there again. They just need to up their game a bit. It could have been an excellent stay with a little attention.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy

Tiresome

From totally poor communication to poor maintenance we were sorely disappointed. To check in we were told to go to the “key nest” to get access to the flat but no one had any idea of what that meant. If they had just said to go to the super save store it would have saved much aggravation. When we finally got into the flat after having travelled more than 24 hours the door/mirror to the cheap armoire fell off the hinges nearly hitting our 90 year old friend. Then the window covering fell off the wall and the knob came off the bathroom door. For such a small place I can’t imagine how so much could be unattended to. It’s sad when owners leave the responsibility to third parties because they don’t care as much as the owners themselves. They also didn’t tell us the entire building was being renovated so we had workman hammering outside the balcony during the day. It was a painful experience all round.
