About this property

New! Cosy Chelsea Studio | Near Tube & King’s Road

  • Enjoy a stylish stay in this beautifully refurbished studio on the second floor of the iconic Nell Gwynn House in Chelsea.

Bright and thoughtfully arranged, the studio brings sleeping, lounging, and dining areas together in one inviting space—an ideal retreat after a day in the city.

King’s Road, Sloane Square Station, and South Kensington Station are all approximately a 10-minute walk away, placing Chelsea’s boutiques, cafés, galleries, museums, and elegant garden squares within easy reach.

Set within the iconic Art Deco surroundings of Nell Gwynn House, the studio blends period character with a fresh, understated interior. Soft neutral tones, light wood flooring, elegant decorative details, and a leafy outlook give the space a calm and polished feel.

The open-plan design has been carefully divided into distinct areas for sleeping, relaxing, dining, and working, creating a convenient and practical stay for solo travellers, couples, and business guests alike.

    - Living & Sleeping Area: Designed for rest and relaxation, the open-plan room features a comfy double bed, a cosy sofa, soft neutral décor, and a welcoming lounge area. It is an inviting place to slow down and recharge after a day exploring London.

Please note that the sofa bed is available upon request only. As it requires an additional set of linen, an extra fee applies. If you would like to use it, please let us know before your arrival.

    - Dining Area: Positioned beside the large windows, the round dining table offers a lovely spot for a leisurely breakfast, an evening meal, or planning the next day’s London adventures while enjoying the leafy outlook.

    - Kitchen: Enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning or prepare a relaxed meal after a day in the city. The well-equipped kitchen adds comfort and flexibility to your stay whenever you feel like dining at home.

    - Bathroom: The private tiled bathroom features a bathtub with an overhead shower—ideal for a quick morning refresh or a relaxing soak at the end of the day.

    - Workspace & Vanity Area: A dedicated built-in desk with a large mirror, comfortable chair, and task lamp provides a practical place to work or get ready for the day.

Professionally cleaned and carefully prepared before every arrival, the studio offers an inviting home away from home in one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods.

You will have full access to the studio, so please treat it with the same care and respect as you would your own.

Step outside and you are perfectly placed between Chelsea, South Kensington, and Knightsbridge—three of London’s most distinctive neighbourhoods. The area combines elegant residential streets with world-class museums, independent cafés, renowned restaurants, beautiful green spaces, and some of the capital’s best shopping.
Nell Gwynn House has a story of its own. Designed in 1937 as a glamorous London residence, the Art Deco building originally featured a cocktail bar and grand restaurant-ballroom. Look above the entrance for the statue of Nell Gwynn and her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, believed to be the only statue of a royal mistress in London.

    - King’s Road – approximately 10 minutes on foot: Spend an afternoon browsing designer boutiques, interiors shops, independent stores, cafés, and restaurants. Once a private route used by King Charles II, the street later became a centre of Swinging Sixties fashion and London’s punk movement.
    - Duke of York Square & Saatchi Gallery – approximately 8 minutes on foot: Combine contemporary art at the Saatchi Gallery with shopping, lunch, or coffee in the square. On Saturdays, the open-air food market brings together artisan producers and dishes from around the world.
    - Pavilion Road – approximately 11 minutes on foot: This charming pedestrianised mews is one of Chelsea’s loveliest places for a morning stroll. Pick up pastries from Bread Ahead, stop for coffee, or enjoy the colourful cakes and seasonal dishes at Ottolenghi.
    - South Kensington Museums – approximately 15 minutes on foot: Discover decorative arts and design at the Victoria and Albert Museum, encounter dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, or explore interactive exhibits at the Science Museum.
    - Harrods & Knightsbridge – approximately 15 minutes on foot: Browse the famous halls of Harrods before exploring the luxury boutiques and restaurants around Brompton Road and Sloane Street.
    - Hyde Park & the Serpentine – approximately 20 minutes on foot: Follow lakeside paths, stop for coffee beside the water, hire a boat in season, or simply find a quiet green space away from the pace of the city.
    - Local Favourites: Try Colbert on Sloane Square (10-min walk) for the atmosphere of a classic Parisian café, Vardo (6-min walk) for globally inspired all-day dining, or The Cadogan Arms (15-min walk) for a refined take on the traditional British pub.
    - Everyday Essentials: Supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, coffee shops, and convenience stores are all close by, making everyday errands refreshingly simple.

From morning coffee on Pavilion Road and afternoons at the museums to dinner on King’s Road, this is a neighbourhood best explored on foot—with something memorable waiting around almost every corner.
