Sophisticated living on Cromwell road

Charming 2-bedrooms apartment in a newly renovated building five minutes walk from Earl’s Court Station. Located in an affluent Kensington district and surrounded by the world famous London museums, including the Science Museum, The V&A, and The Natural History Museum.

The apartment is located in Kensington,that is absolutely affluent and incredibly central, being a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep, and so the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty), and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.

Two Underground stations are located just 8 minutes away from the apartment, with the District and Piccadilly lines found at Earl’s Court station, and the Circle line passing from Gloucester Road station, granting quick access to all corners of the city. There is also a bus stop conveniently located right in front of the building’s entrance, meaning you will never have a problem reaching all of London’s must-see destinations like Kensington Palace, the West End or Covent Garden.
You will also be connected directly with London Heathrow airport thanks to the Piccadilly line which ends directly in the large airport.

Perfect location!

We had a great time here! Location was perfect- easy walk to several tube stations, close to a grocery store. Accommodations were comfortable and perfect for our family of 4.

Earl’s Court

The accommodations were adequate, but not exactly as pictured on the web site. The location is on a busy, noisy street, but at least the bedrooms are in back. The flat was not in great repair, but nothing vital was inoperative. We expected something a bit more attractive and comfortable for the money.

Convenient location in London

This property worked very well for our family (grandma, parents and girls ages 11 and 13). The property manager was waiting at the front door for us. The apartment was just as listed, with two reasonable size bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen/living room was a good size. A few fairly small complaints - the sofa bed was not very comfortable for sleeping on; there was no soap of any kind in the bathrooms; one of the showers was quite slow to drain. On the positive side, we really appreciated the two portable AC units because we had a couple of hot days while we were there.

Zentrale Lage

Top Lage, um in kurzer Zeit auf direktem Weg mit der U-Bahn ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Alles in allem mittelmässiger Aufenthalt, aber für 3 Nächte in Ordnung. Vermieter sehr freundlich und bemüht um seine Gäste. Wohnung direkt an vielbefahrener Strasse. Schlecht isolierte Fenster, deshalb auch im Wohnzimmer Strassenverkehr gut hörbar. Die Schlafräume sind im hinteren Teil des Gebäudes. Es befand sich eine undichte tropfende Wasserleitung unterhalb Lavabo im Bad. Wir gingen davon aus, dass wir die Wohnung im Obergeschoss gebucht hatten. Wir bekamen die Parterrewohnung und hatten sehr laute Ferienhäste in der Wohnung über uns. Die Böden sind minimal isoliert. Die Wohhnung befindet sich in einen Altbau und wurde teilweise erneuert. Lampen wurden zum Teil zur Dekoration platziert und sind nicht am Strom angeschlossen. Wir hatten ausser dem Frühstück keine Mahlzeiten in diesem Appartment. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe. Schade, gibt es im Wohnzimmer keine Vorhänge anstelle der Rollos.
