Liked: Location
The location was good - right across the street from Maida Vale station and nearby shops etc. The apartment was clean. We did experience several issues however. The noise on the Saturday night from the pub next door was extremely loud inside the apartment. We stayed a week, and fortunately it was only the one night that was a real issue with noise. The double beds were both made up with only a single duvet inside a double duvet cover. Fortunately we stayed during a heat wave, so just a sheet was enough, but this wouldn’t be good in the winter. The only spare duvets I saw were also singles (which was strange as there are no single beds.) The biggest issue was the washing machine didn’t work. We phoned Houst for advice/assistance and was asked to send a message and photos, which we did but got no response or resolution. We could not properly wash up as the plug in the sink didn’t hold water. This was reported, but the only response was to push it in harder, which obviously we had already tried! On top of this, slightly dodgy electrics, problems with the shower and general poor maintenance. I could not recommend it this property.
