Practically Perfect in Every Way

We had an excellent stay here for our family's first trip to London. Our host was waiting to meet us on our arrival from the airport for an easy check in and quick tour. Quiet and safe-feeling neighborhood, well-maintained, historic, charming building and apartment. Lots of space in the lounge, plus a balcony; comfy rooms, full kitchen with a dishwasher, espresso machine, electric kettle, etc. There were some excellent basics stocked in the fridge for us.The building has a lift which was convenient for carrying up luggage and groceries but it's an easy-enough walk up on the second floor. Loved walking the neighborhood. A quick, convenient, and equidistant walk to either Victoria or Pimlico proved a great location as our home base to anywhere via the tube or rail (which we used to visit Windsor Castle).We had a wonderful trip, and a large part of that was having this great flat to come back to; it really felt like home in the end. When we return to London, this will be our first choice. Mary Poppins said it best: practically perfect in every way! Thanks for a great stay!
