The Call of the Water - Private luxury cabin on river in San Juan Nat Forest!
10/10 Excellent
"Great place.. beautiful setting and very relaxing.. The only 2 suggestions are a hair dryer and a pitcher .. Other than that had a great time relaxing and exploring the general area. Very affordable.. Near Mesa Verde NP. Canyon of the Ancients and other native sites.. also a short drive to Telluride. Thanks a bunch!"
"This was our 4th time at this property for a family reunion and we love, love, love it. We would go back again but our family now exceeds the maximum number of occupants. The scenery is gorgeous with pine trees and quaking aspens. The hummingbirds put on a show and are fun to watch. I used a Merlin bird identifier app and identified 16 different Birds. The kitchen is very well equiped with multiple refrigerators, cooking pans and baking sheets, cooking utinsels and anything you need.We did have a minor issue with the continuous water heating system as it functioned sporatically. Some people got cool showers, some warm and some hot. But the host was very responsive and had someone come to fix it the day we left. We didn't report the issue until late Friday afternoon and the remoteness of the cabin made it impossible to fix until Monday. But they did give us a very generous refund. We have made many lasting memories at this cabin and give it a 5 out of 5 rating. We highly recommend this cabin and the wonderful host."
Mesa Verde Cabin II - Sweeping Views of Mesa Verde only 10 miles out!
8/10 Good
"The property was in a nice quiet location and was very well kept. The check in process was a bit challenging as we did not get the code to get in nor did we know where to find the key. The phone number for the host was also incorrect in the email that we got for check in. Once we got all of that figured out everything went quite smoothly and we had a very nice stay. Thank you for having us!"
Enjoy Cabin on working farm! 1 hr. Telluride, 1.5 hrs. Moab, UT.
10/10 Excellent
"We loved everything about staying on this farm. The Duncan's greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was well stocked, immaculate and such a beautiful setting . You can see the love and pride they take in their whole 500 acres. They even brought us welcome gifts which was above and beyond. It was a great location to stay and site see in so many directions. We hope to return to explore more areas that we didn't have time to in our 5 day stay."
Spacious 3BR Chalet in Charming Dolores, CO- Hot Tub, Deck & Mountain Views
10/10 Excellent
"This house and property was beautiful. It's in a country setting that was overall very peaceful. We woke up to deer on the grounds near the deck each morning which was really a welcome sight. The house is fairly well stocked with dishes, appliances, and cooking gear. There wasn't much in terms of spices so make sure to bring your own. There is a grill on the deck as well that we took advantage of. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay but the host had warned me in advance that it might not be. I saw no issues with the deck unlike what a previous guest had mentioned. The house is in the country and had a slight musty smell when we first arrived but running the ceiling fans and opening some windows cleared that out pretty quickly. Our entire family enjoyed the pool table near the kitchen and the ping pong table in the massive detached garage. Another nice feature is that we were able to park both cars in the attached garage! There were even garage door remotes. There were seven us staying there and the massive dining room table made meals a breeze. With that many people, having 3.5 bathrooms was nice as well. The house really only sleeps 8 comfortably if 2 people are willing to sleep on the couch in each living room. We did not see a bed in the office and neither couch in the living rooms pulled out. There might be air mattresses somewhere but we did not find them. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would considering staying there again future."
