"Nice property. The room was large and comfortable. With staff only on site during limited hours, we weren’t able to get issues addressed. For example, there was no bath wash in the container but we didn’t discover this until after the staff was gone. The next day, we left before we could let them know and came back after they were gone. As a result we showered using shampoo for 2 nights (it ran out but I had brought my own shampoo). We were lucking forward to the Galveston eggs Benedict. However, they ran out of crab. We had the scrambled eggs and they were very dry. The next morning, we chose to eat out instead."

"We arrived late and Dante was extremely kind and friendly. He assisted me with a printing need as we were cruising the next morning. The room was clean and spacious. We had a balcony with a ocean view. Although we didn't get to say for very long we enjoyed the morning on the balcony. I wanted coffee the next morning however they didn't have flavored creamer so I had to pass. I will definitely stay again."

"I was met at this beautiful historic home by the owner, who was gracious and immediately made me feel like we were friends. He quickly set me up with my entrance code and walked me around the house, showing me everything that was available, including where I could store food and heat something up if needed. He then walked me to my room and made sure I knew how to use the key, explained the TV, gave me the internet information, and let me know when breakfast would be served. The house and decor are quite stunning! There was only me and another couple staying that night, so the house was very quiet. That was a nice pleasure for me. My room was LARGE and very comfortable. I slept well. The morning cook was there early and by 8:00 AM, breakfast was ready, and oh my, it was delicious. Pouched eggs, hand cut and I think pan fried potatoes, bacon, biscuits, frittata, and handmade apple muffins. Such a pleasant time relaxing and eating in this beautiful home."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was extremely clean, had a great layout, and came stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The pool was a huge bonus—clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short distance from the Strand and plenty of stores. Property management was also very helpful and responsive. We’d happily stay here again."

"We stayed here with our family during our daughter's graduation. The home is in a great location for all activities. The host is very responsive. In our opinion it is a better alternative than paying for 3 hotel rooms for 6 adults."
