Even though it says the rooms are soundproof, you can still easily hear people outside the door. The Resort is beautiful to hold events like weddings, bridal shower, etc. But to stay there for any other reason; I personally don’t feel it’s worth the high price they are charging. We paid $600 for one night in their basic room. Valet is $40 The pool area was small and packed with so many people. I think they had a section of the pool closed off when we visited. Overall, it was very underwhelming. "

"perfect location walking distance to carnival cruise ship. walk across the parking lot to Katie's sea food, then 2 blocks from the Strand. 100% will book this place again when going to Galveston. downfall was lower than normal breakfast, but still worth it for the location. "
