"Wonderful Getaway!We had an amazing time here at Deer Haven! This beautiful place was everything we hoped for and more. It was secluded, which was what we wanted, and had amazing views. We were there with another couple and spent evenings watching the colorful sunsets and getting in some night sky viewing without all the nearby light pollution from the city. We saw several satellites passing over, constellations, the Milky Way and some meteors. Both the front and side decks are solidly built and very sturdy with plenty of seating.The communication with John was very prompt, friendly and provided a detailed packet of information about the property as well as listing things to do locally, such as restaurants nearby, wineries and breweries in the area, shops and attractions. We took separate vehicles to get there & both had trucks in 2WD which did well on the one lane road going up to the house. The outside of the property is very well maintained & attractive. The inside is very open and airy feeling. It's very clean and well maintained. Everything you need is there. The kitchen is well equipped. The spacious living room had such an amazing view of the valley with the floor to ceiling windows. The other couple we were with took the upstairs master bedroom which had a great view and there was a 2nd bedroom and bath there. There is also a full bath off the living room. My hubby has Parkinsons so we took the basement comfy queen bed with beautiful bath. I love this place!"

"Wonderful place to stay! This home is well-appointed and a very comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the arcade room each day, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in after our mountain hikes, and we finished each day with s’mores around the fire pit. The fenced dog yard was so helpful to have. The location was perfect for mountain activities and relaxation in the quiet of nature.The hosts are very responsive and the checkout list is completely reasonable. We would 100% stay here again."
