When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. "This hotel is situated in the midst of a college campus. Access requires navigating through a Security gate and though parking is adequate the hotel location is less than ideal. The hotel itself is a large complex which requires walking a fair distance to access hotel facilities. The rooms do not have air conditioning which can be an issue during hot weather. I believe the staff to be very helpful and considerate. The room itself was clean with good decor. We found the bar to be well supplied but on the expensive side compared to other local establishments. Overall, our stay was pleasant and is probably ideal for college professors, parents and visitors to the college campus, for others, not so much."

"I did not have breakfast as I left the hotel very early, there's a nice selection of bar food throughout the day and evening. Everything about this hotel was great very friendly helpful staff I had a spacious room and a big double bed the only downside is you need to book a ground floor room if you have mobility problems as there is no lift on the upside it's less than a 10 minute walk to departure. I would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect night before you fly stay at this hotel. "

"The staff was very friendly on arrival and had us checked in within minutes. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a twin room. One of the bed bases was broken but this was changed the same day as reported. The room was cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Coffee/tea was replaced daily and cups cleaned."

"This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"
