Staff are always great here. Occasionally hotel is booked with a lot of students that think they're in Uni digs so don't respect others but that's not the hotels fault.

Managers and staff were absolutely the BEST! Pretty lobby with bar and cafe, excellent space in the rooms, great location … everything was wonderful here and we felt welcomed. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town!

Great place. Check in is a bit complicated and for some reason you need photo identification?

Brilliant location. Dark rooms made sleeping easy. Clean. Tidy. Kitchen in room a game changer.

Good variety of shops
Toby carvery 1.2 miles away.
Basically a university town. Nice enough in its own way, but no particular reason to go there again
We went for a wedding reception held at The Navigation Inn next to the river which was excellent
We visited The Great Central Railway which was well worth it.
