Great "Home Base" for Tuscany Adventure

About half mile from the train station and adjacent to entrance to walled city, Lucca in Villa was VERY convenient for dining, trains to Florence and Cinque Terre, laundry, shopping, and just strolling. We used it as a base for 5 nights and it was a respite each day after sizable crowds in Florence, Cinque Terre and Pisa. Lucca has an undeniable charm that is hard to beat and the staff at this hotel are friendly and hospitable. And yes, it really is a villa.

Great B&B hotel

Cousy little B&B hotel with a nice and helpfull staff. Great breakfast. Our room was excellent. Placed in a quiet area just outside the old town. Try it!

Amazing place to stay and visit Lucca walled city . The rooms are spacious beautiful decorated, comfy beds nice and cosy for when we got back from walking around the city. Breakfast was amazing, with loads to eat all fresh all great quality. Most of all the lovely people working there make you feel so welcome and we can thanks enough for all they did for us! The place is very nice, quiet and wonderfully located. They have parking on the property which is very convenient. Breakfast has good options. I would just add some veggies. The city of Lucca is absolutely stunning. We loved it so much. In my opinion it's just perfect. Highly recommend!

This is a perfectly lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly and they offer snacks and a decent breakfast with meats,cheeses, cereal and pancakes. And espresso. There are some stairs but not bad and it’s only 2 small blocks outside the gates of Lucca. The mattress was lumpy but otherwise great heat and nice and roomy. It is a very good value.

Silly me booked the wrong date for the stay, only realized when we arrived at the villa. The check-in staff were very generous and helpful, they let us stay in their another villa instead as this one was already full. Our stay has been very pleasant, the room is clean and tidy. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good. It's close to the walls of Lucca, walkable distance. Would recommend this place!

This B&B was delightful! Beautiful property. My husband and I stayed here for one night with our 6yo and we all agreed that the beds were comfortable. Check in was a breeze. We had a car, so we appreciated we could park within their establishment. You are just outside the walls of Lucca, but it’s a short 5 min walk into the walls of the town. Walk another 10 min and you’re surrounded by many dining and shopping options! We had breakfast before we checked out at the B&B and it was delicious. My daughter loved their pancakes! They had quite the spread available. Highly recommend this location during your Lucca visit!

Nice accommodation, not quite up to date anymore

Communication on CheckIn did not work, had to call someone, announced eMail message was not pressent. Room is nice, a little bit small but very high, water boiler, tea and coffee present, bed is good and comfortable, but in general room starts to need renovation. Breakfast is OK for Italian Standard and staff was really friendly. I also was allowed to leave the car a little bit longer, what is much appreciated.
