"I can't say enough about how beautiful the grounds and scenery are. The staff were all incredibly polite and our room was spacious. The only issue was arriving to a room full of mosquitoes, and we woke up with a bunch of bites despite keeping the windows and door closed. The rest of our experience was so good that I'd still recommend it without hesitation. Just maybe pack extra repellant!"

Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist."

"Third time in Lucca and couldn't fault this hotel. Great location for (numerous) laps of the walls. Comfortable rooms, good choice of food and drinks for breakfast and surprise complimentary drinks / cakes in an afternoon. Hot tub and outside lounge area meant we could relax outside. Also complimentary bike hire means you save a fortune from the local bike hire shops. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you. "

"Hotel San Marco was a wonderful place to stay in Lucca. The location is great—just a short walk from the beautiful walled city, making it easy to explore. The swimming pool was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. Fabio at the front desk was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and even taught us a few phrases in Italian. He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat inside the walled city, which turned out to be some of our favorite meals in Lucca. The lady at the snack bar and breakfast service was equally delightful, always courteous and providing exceptional service that made mornings feel special.
