A very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Clean, well appointed bedroom, friendly, helpful staff. pleasant, if uninspiring breakfasts, well prepared food served in the bar with chef's specials to round out the menu. Parts of the exterior of one wing in need of some cosmetic attention but the rest of the facade of this massive, rambling property not at all bad and the interiors good. Beautiful countryside surroundings as well as attractive golf course.

Never stayed in a Best western hotel before,so was really happy with it,stayed in a king suite as was my hubbys birthday present for 2 nights away,staff were courteous and helpful, lots of food choice and nice surroundings, waaclose to the racecourse where we were going ,so was perfect.

Usually 5 star but...

Amazing spa and at least our 10th weekend there, probably our favourite hotel with the best spa however, the hot tub was not hot despite us raising this with them and its always a highlight of our visit. Not sure if theyve a change of staff or cut back's or what but it did affect whats usually an amazing weekend stay.

I would stay here again

The outside of the building leaves a lot to be desired when you park in the car park but don’t be fooled. The inside is absolutely fine. Staff were very good and the food was also very good and breakfast starts at 7 o’clock. Wi-Fi is good lots of free parking.

Very well run and great value for money.

A real find - clean room with plenty of space and a nice view of the gardens. The food was a real highlight - if i lived locally i would make a point of going there for a meal regularly. Breakfasts were fine - standard hotel stuff. All staff very friendly and helpful.
