Quiet place, great breakfast. Watch out all room keys are same. Don’t leave any valuables in room. Anyone can use their keys to get into your room. We had couple walk into our room at midnight.

The hotel is very basic, room damp, breakfast very poor and staff not interested. No restaurant facilities, safe did not work, when asked to sort, didn’t!! Took 3 attempts to get key to room, view from room nothing like photo’s?? Not worth the money for the room, will be requesting a refund of some kind.

The front desk was absolutely kind, and incredible. They made sure that we were settled, and asked what time we would prefer breakfast served. It’s a great location, 5 minute walk to the Main Street.

Family vacation

Everyone was very helpful, they give us a very personalized attention. Milton and the gentleman in the breakfast restaurant, the whole team, I traveled in a family group of (7) and the communication and service was outstanding, specially for a town that it’s just growing. The location was a bit of walk but truly Machinlsts Picchu town is organic, no vehicles allowed so be ready to a lot of walking. But very safe and enjoyable.

I do not recommend this property. All three rooms my group booked smelled strongly of mold, with visible mold in the bathrooms and on the walls. Even worse, our room keys could open each other’s rooms — a serious safety concern. We raised these issues with the manager, who showed little interest in addressing them. We ended up checking out two days early due to the conditions, but the hotel refused any refund or compensation. I’m a seasoned traveler and not picky, but this was beyond acceptable. The property has potential, but guests should be warned about the current state and lack of basic standards for health and security.

A pleasant enough stay but the property was extremely quiet and the place lacked atmosphere. For1 night the hotel was OK but I wouldn’t have liked to stay for much longer . Fortunately Aguas Calientes is small so it was easy to get around and not too far from everything

Unos los mejores hoteles en los que he estado

Mi esposo y yo llegamos para subir a Huayna Picchu al día siguiente. Nos recogieron de la estación de tren, el hotel fue super cómodo y limpio, y a nuestro regreso, nos llevaron las cosas a la estación de tren a tiempo perfecto. Lo cual hizo nuestro viaje super fácil. Yo he ido a Machu Picchu al menos unas 7 veces en mi vida y conozco el área y es cierto que la mayoría de los hoteles dan esos servicios para hacer el viaje fácil. Sin embargo lo que hizo diferente a este hotel fue su personal y el desayuno! Personal super agradable y muy amable. No solo nos acompañaron con las maletas pero nos acompañaron a hacer nuestras compras y nos aconsejaron bien a que hacer antes de subir. El desayuno ha sido el mejor que he probado en un hotel de esa categoría. El jugo de naranja recién exprimido, y lo demás fue contundente y de muy buena calidad. Volvería en una!

El personal es muy gentil, pero facilitaría que recogieran al huesped en la estación del tren, no es fácil encontrar el hotel. El aseo debiera ser mejor en habitación como en áreas comunes. Cama confortable. Hay mucho olor a humedad y las cortinas tienen moho de la humedad.
