"My wife and I spent two nights at the Sanctuary Lodge. It was simply wonderful from the beginning to the end of our stay. Great food, incredible staff. A real jewel by the Machu Picchu ruins. A true paradise."
"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel.
The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!!
The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...
"Friendly staff and the hotel is in an excellent location with shopping and dining options nearby. The staff met us at the train station to walk us to our hotel."
"A great place to stay! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was attentive and available 24/7. I highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Casa Andina. The staff was very friendly and nice. They prepared q beautiful surprise for our daughter… which we always are going to remember ♥️ The hotel room was tidy clean and had a beautiful view to the river. 100% recommended for families."
"Great place to stay. Was too bad we were only there one night. Two or more would have been better.
Only one thing I would want others to know, the hot springs they have are not “hot”. I’m used to hot tubs so hearing hot springs was a bonus, but wasn’t hot.
Other than that, would certainly recommend. "
"Very friendly staff, great breakfast, good location. We could leave our bags in the hotel overnight when we went to Machu Picchu. Staff could meet us at the train station to help with luggage."
