This property is close to the train station and bus stop which is important because you will have to carry your luggage to your hotel as there is no vehicular traffic in Mach Picchu City. The hotel was clean. They provided a decent breakfast. The staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I ever returned.

Perfect place to stay!
We had an amazing stay here! The family running the place is very nice and generous. We arrived early and were able to store our bags there until we checked in. When we checked in, our bags had been moved up to our room for us, which was nice. The room was large and very clean! Comfortable bed as well. The shower was hot. Location was perfectly close to everything. We went up Machu Picchu in the morning and were able to store our bags there for most of the day, until we came back down. I would highly recommend staying here!

A big like about the property is that they contacted and met me at the train station when I arrived. The hotel is not too far but it's quicker that someone navigate through the market rather than get distracted. It's location is actually very good since it's close the train station and the main plaza. The room was okay.

This was a very comfortable place in the center of town with an early breakfast so you can catch the bus to Machu Picchu.

we would rate this hotel at five stars but a conversation with a young couple from Germany reminded me that how easy we lower our bar because we are in remote area. in general cusco area hotels are very clean and accommodating, friendly and safe. but the conditions are very basic. please just keep that in mind for your expectations. to most U.S. guests, under $100 may sound very cheap. however, small hotels in this area are sort of good hostel condition. so do not expect too much. this hotel had refrigerator, hair dryer and ok size room and hot shower. very good breakfast ( yogurt, fruits, egg, bacon, bread and take away fruits like orange). perfect location. seems to be a family biz. the staff took us all the way to train station through the market maze. the location could not be more central, just half block in a small alley ( busy and safe one) connecting to bus station, mail restaurant street, train). like all hotels we stayed, they had very comfortable bed.

Nice hotel for the price and close to the bus stop
Hotel was very accommodating. They had someone pick us up from the train station and walk us to the hotel. Room was nice and clean. They don't stock the toiletries so if you run out of toilet paper, you have to ask for more. Same for the towels, they give you 2 towels and no hand towels. The complimentary breakfast wasn't bad, but you have to get there early for the hot food. Our Machu Picchu trip wasn't til 10am so we caught the tail end of the breakfast which consisted of cold scrambled eggs and bacon and assorted breads with butter and jam. All in all, it was a 1 night stay in aguas caliente to see Machu Picchu. I must say, they will hold your bags while you do your tour of Machu Picchu so that's a plus as well.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Not too expensive but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location and it had hot water with plenty of water pressure. Staff let us check in early which was great and they held our bags the next day when we went to Machu Picchu.

Hotel staff very friendly. Walked us up from train station to the property... it's a very short distance from both the train station and the bus station taking everyone up to Machu Picchu. They store your bags for you, as a convenience, as well.

Great stay for visiting Machu Picchu the next morning. They have an early breakfast starting at 5 am, which was great for us to be able to take advantage of before heading out to get on the bus. We were able to store our bags for the day as well. The room was clean and comfortable. My husband showered in the morning and said it was on the cooler side, so that would be the only negative.

Reception tried to scam us with counterfeit bills
Reception tried to switch dollars out with us- total scam!! Peru is the forgery capital for U.S. money, beware when someone tries to do this. Shady shady! Hotel rooms are fine but a little strange- they have glass sliding windows into the hallway but not to the outside. Reception not only tried to swindle us out of real bills, they were not friendly at all. After staying in small, economic hotels in the sacred valley for the past 2 weeks and having an amazing time, this hotel was a disappointment. Beware!!!

We enjoyed our night at the Mantu Boutique. Loved the location! The room was nice but had a cleaner smell of some sort. We also received an email from Walter Calsina regarding meeting us at the train station through Hotels.com. I replied twice with our arrival information but never received confirmation back of receipt and there wasn't anyone there to greet us at the train station.

No wifi and booked in for late breakfast to help them out as there was usually a rush early but went at 8am and there wasn’t much left. Room had an issue with the drains every time we went in the room it was smelling like smelly toilet.

Hotel was very loud all hours of the night. Room wasn’t cleaned during our two day stay so we had to make up the room ourselves and take toilet paper from the Lobby bathroom. WiFi only available in Lobby not in rooms even though they said it was. Over charged for what we received. Breakfast was good tho

Good morning It is small town, only in the morning is loud bjt in the night people are sleeping. To clean your room we need your permission to enter. The wifi services is not good, they are looking ways to improve but is really expensive for our geography.

Great hotel in aguas caliente
Clean hotel super close to the bus for Machu Picchu. The front desk was super helpful when we checked in and told us what restaurants were clean and safe to eat at. Breakfast started at 5am and was good. Would recommend!
