"We like everything"

"The building was originally a Sugercane factory and the conversion has retained the dark hues and colours making the hotel warm and cosy. Our booking was for family of 4 and we booked into one of the garden pool suites. The package was b&b and came with an upgrade to the “premium service”. I would say the latter is well worth having as it gives you free access to the underground car park, the spa and an upstairs lounge with great views and where you can have breakfast (from a menu) and drinks...

"Stunning hotel, very comfortable and quiet room with a beautiful view of the sea. Lovely pool, gym and sauna. Great location, 25 mins walk to the old town and 5 mins to some lovely bars and restaurants. The only let down was the staff really…they were the least friendly we came across in Madeira. We were not impressed with the service fee that was automatically added to every bill considering the poor level of service. The friendliest member of staff we came across was the guy that was on...
