"Excellent clean room, with VERY comfortable beds. Great location near the train station and river walk. Staff were fantastic, and provided great service. Breakfast was varied and high quality with lots of options for celiacs and dairy allergies. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"The Steigenberger Frankfurt Airport has been my go-to stay arriving and departing Germany for years. I’ve had exceptional rooms in the executive tower section, and very nice “business” rooms. To me the breakfast is a highlight. The restaurant options have become more limited especially on weekends. The ability to go for a walk in the adjacent woods is one of the best things about the hotel! Great to get over jet lag. The other great thing at least until this year is the super convenient shuttle bus to terminal 2. With the move of airlines to the new T3, I sincerely hope, no I beg!, that the Steigenberger hotel keeps a Shuttlebus to T3. Because the brand new airport train is horrible!! So staying at the Steigenberger hotel with only a connection to Terminal one will definitely affect the convenience of the hotel for travel. Which would be a shame for such a wonderful hotel with great staff!"

"We stayed in the "Comfort Double Room" part of the hotel, and the place was far from 4-star superior quality. It felt like an unmaintained 1980s relic with unpleasant red shag carpet and almost zero soundproofing. The room was objectively dirty and hazardous: Hygiene: There was active mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the shower grout. The toilet had a visible brown biofilm build-up under the rim, and the water faucet was covered in heavy limescale. Expired Food: I found coffee creamers that had expired over 100 days ago (Dec 2025) and minibar chips expired by two months. Security: While we were out, housekeeping took an active key card from our room without explanation. We had to go back to the desk to reprogram everything because we didn't know who had it. Service: Breakfast service was incredibly slow; it took a very long time just to get a coffee. Management provided a partial discount after I showed them the photos, but a refund doesn't fix these health and safety issues. If you book here, be very careful which wing they put you in."
