Great high standard one expects at BQ hotels. Very warm reception staff. Great food. Beach and restaurants close by. Good internet. Fridge in room. Aldi nearby. Nice pathways along beachfront where pedestrians, runners, cyclists tourists and locals all rub along nicely. Beachfront market on Fridays. A lovely safe family orientated holiday spot. Good mix of Brits, Germans, French and Scandi. Highly recommend,mend. Also Tif buses are brill to hop from place to place, Arta, Pollensa or Alcudia close by. But there is enough in CP to keep one amused.

Awful hotel! This is not a 4 star hotel: total lack of hygiene in the restaurant, really poor food quality and variety, unhelpful and quite rude staff (specially Toni who runs the restaurant, he’s very rude, aggressive and extremely unhelpful), very small rooms and balconies, very noisy (traffic) and one of the pools is in a separate building. We checked out 4 days earlier, we would have checked out after the first day but all hotels in the area were fully booked the first week of August. The only good things to highlight about this hotel are: Xisca working in the reception, (she’s professional, helpful and nice) and the proximity to the beach. The staff is the biggest asset of this hotel; they are all a bunch of stars. The hotel itself is nice; air con need replacement, is not strong enough at +30 degrees. The food is ok but being 2021 they should consider better and more vegetarian options; salads and desserts are fantastic though. They should also let people know what areas are momentary closed due COVID (second pool, spa, etc)

Good hotel, if you don't need the internet to work
Hotel was pretty good, excellent location, good breakfast, and we enjoyed the pool as well. The only problem we had was with the internet, as I had a work meeting on Zoom and the hotel's connection was not good enough to support it, neither in the bedroom or in the library, where the staff on the reception told me to try it when I spoke to them.

Could not fault this property at all - from the staff, rooms, pool - all beautiful and spotless. The staff went above and beyond and were always friendly. The pool was immaculate and the bedrooms were modern, clean and comfortable!

Lovely hotel. Rooms spotless. Comfy beds, air conditioning, fridge and lovely bathroom with great power shower. Toiletries provided including shaver/foam, toothbrush/paste, body wash, shampoo, comb and tissues. Lovely viuews from the balcony. The food is varied and tasty. The dining room is very busy but the staff are very efficient in clearing tables. Close to the beach and shops. An ideal base. Entertainment mediocre but close to bars etc if you want more lively evenings. Drinks very reasonably priced for a 4* hotel.

Great location as it’s just a 3 minute walk from the beach, a 3 minute walk from the main road (where you can get buses from) and main street of shops is just around the corner. Hotel itself has a modern interior, great gym and sauna area, bedding was very comfortable, great choice of food for breakfast and dinner (including plenty of vegetarian options). Hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The only negative thing I can say is having to pay for using the iron which is very disappointing - this is the first hotel I have come across which charges for the use of an iron and ironing board. There was no mention of this during the booking process. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the Can Picafort area.

Good hotel, close to the beach.
This was our second stay, although we spot and faced some problems last year but decided to give it another chance, but this time we have been very disappointed with our stay and have no intention to return. The main problem was the WiFi. The internet simple did not work on both of our two rooms.We faced the problem every single day. We complained everyday and every time we had a different excuse for the problem. But the internet never worked well. Last year it was poor but this time it is even poor. They also have not showed any intention to move us to a different room or to find a solutions for the problem. The food also was not as good as we expected and wanted. Most of the food was not fresh as it should be.

The B Q Can Picafort Hotel was great for our holiday. The hotel was clean, fresh and stylish and almost all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had two excellent swimming pools with life guards and there was nightly entertainment for kids and adults if you like that sort of thing. We stayed half-board and there was a huge choice buffet food morning (up to 10:30 am) and night (up to 10:30 pm): a particular feature was the Chef that prepared eggs, etc, at breakfast and the "meat of the day" at dinner; he was great fun and not to be missed. One downside of this hotel were that there were no free drinks (not even water) at dinner, so we had to buy soft drinks with each evening meal: on top of which the waiter taking the drinks orders was the least friendly member of staff that we encountered. The second downside of the hotel was the room size: myself and my two sons were in a "twin room" and it was just about filled with the three single beds that we had: I would recommend that the maximum occupancy of any of the hotel's rooms would be two persons. I would love to stay at this hotel again, but I would be mindful of the room size and the evening drinks policy so that I might go only bed and breakfast rather than half-board.

This review is not about the hotel but about Expedia as the picture in my booking was nothing like the actual room. The room was so tiny we could not move. The hotel rates itself as 4*. It is a 2-3* at best!

The hotel and breakfast was good. Lacked kettle in room and iron etc. Very noisy with odd times for rubbish collection. Staff friendly. Close to beach, restaurants and shops. Easy to travel around Mallorca bus and connecting train link. Only disappointment was the beach was not ready for tourists with big piles of seaweed mounds. This meant walking a mile to get to . However, they appeared to be clearing this when leaving.

booked a stay at this hotel in January after seeing positive reviews on Expedia. Granted, many of these reviews were written in another language, but that did not phase me. The reception staff were very friendly initially and gave us a keycard for our room on the fifth floor. The room was basic but clean and well presented. We had a balcony too with a great view of the island and the sea. We didn’t bother with the TV. The bathroom had a walk in shower, a powerful one at that. The bed was relatively comfortable, some might complain it is a little hard but it was just right for me. We had breakfast at the hotel. It contained a buffet section with yoghurt, fruit, cold meats, hot meats, pastries etc. They also had a chef who was cooking to order. I had a cheese and ham omelette and this was very good. We did not have dinner at the hotel as it I’m not a huge fan of buffet food for evening meals. The food is varied and whilst there is bacon, it is not what we are used to back in the UK. There is a wonderful swimming pool and there is entertainment each evening although I didn’t actually attend any of it. Consequentially, I can’t really comment about it. My main concern during the stay was the air conditioning. I’m very hot blooded so I tend to rely on it. Granted, this is April but still. I turned it on and set it to seventeen and got warm air. Very nice hotel and close to the beach
The drive from the air port was so long 😣'shuttle driver was lovely do he made the journey pleasant Arrival at the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful they let us change rooms with out any hassle to a better room on the 4th floor that had a ocean view The staff are friendly and rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towel and linen.. the aircon was brill as it gets very hot. The kids pool is awesome my son enjoyed it also the staff are great with the activities they provided for the kids.. the only down side of you book half board the drinks at dinner time are not included you have to pay extra 😐 perhaps if juice drinks and water was free them all others you pay for ie alcohol etc. And they had no veggie sausages in the menu at buffet at all .. not every one eats pork sausages 😣 also I'm the bath room no conditioner only shampoo and shower gel ..woulf be nice if they provided shampoo aswell with it been soo hot ur hair could use some moisture back in it. But other than that I enjoyed my stay and would defo come back again. And would recommend to any one ..also the beach was brill and it's only 5mins walk away and the local shops are good and there's lots of places to eat if you don't want to eat at the hotel. 😁

Had a lovely stay. Some of the rooms are on the small side , however there is space for everything, so no problems. Restaurant had a great variety of food everyday, replenished frequently & something to suit everyone. The hotel was kept clean, and the pool areas were also well maintained. Both pools had lifeguards. We chose the family pool across the (very small) road, it was great. Entertainment - not good!! Sorry, but the guy running it didn't have any enthusiasm at all, which is what the kids need. Also the animation team evening show!! What can I say?!? If I could remove it from my memory I would! He really needs to try a change of career. The bus transfer to the hotel from the airport took approx. 2 hours, so I would suggest a private transfer or taxi as it is only 55-60 mins. Overall the hotel was great & we didn't want to leave, even after staying for 2 weeks. I would recommend the hotel as it was a short walk to the shops & beach, but far enough away from any noise.

Lovely staff, good location.
The location of this hotel was ideal for us being a short stroll to the beach and town. The staff were attentive and friendly and communal areas spotlessly clean. Predictably the wide-angled shot of the room was flattering and the reality was a very cramped space for a family of 3! The rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard but we found the unpleasant odour of products (a mixture of mothballs & bleach!) lingered on all our clothes and possessions!! The air con was efficient.

The good: Hotel looks brand new. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location being close to the beach but not noisy. Nice pools The mediocre: Breakfast is ok, but depending on what you like, can be disappointed. Scrambled eggs were from powder. Cheeses were bland. Coffee so-so. Rooms were on the small side, but still adequate. Evening entertainment (cheesy, not great, but it is still there) The bad: Internet: slow and intermittent Overall a good hotel and worth the stay, just need to get at a good value price.

Pro: Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen in der Nähe vom Meer. Wenn man mit dem Bus einen Ausflug Richtung Alcudia machen möchte hat man das Glück, dass man fast immer einen leeren Bus vorfindet, da Can Picafort am Ende der Linie liegt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Das Essen war für den Preis gut. Man bekommt natürlich das, was man bezahlt. Also kein hochwertiges Essen, aber es war jeden Tag etwas gutes dabei, weil das Buffet riesig ist. Vom Fleisch würde ich mich eher fernhalten, aber da muss man sich eben durchprobieren. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Omlett am Morgen oder Pommes, Kartoffelgratin, frittierte Jalapenos uvm. am Abend. Getränke sind vor allem Apfelschorle, Eistee, Weinschorle, Sprite und Spezi zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind zum Großteil sehr nett. Man kann sich sogar kostenlos Sonnenschirme ausleihen. Strandtücher kann man täglich neue holen. Auch Fahrräder und Autos kann man über das Hotel direkt mieten. Fast jeden Abend gibt es ein Abendprogramm, der Flamenco war bspw. sehr beeindruckend. Wäscheservice ist ziemlich teuer, würde also genügend Klamotten mitnehmen. Contra: Etwas nervig war, dass jeden Morgen gegen 5 oder 6 Uhr ein Hund gegenüber angefangen hat zu jaulen und andere Hunde darauf eingestiegen sind.
