Super hotel and staff, the spa is all newly renovated and lovely, as is the dining room. Dinner was great , many choices, fresh varied roasted meat every evening and great salads, the seating inside and outside is really well arranged , this hotel is so beautifully situated to gain the best views of the nearby beaches and blue sea Breakfast was good, but not great in our opinion, although the bakery and fresh fruit was excellent, the hot food included many German dishes. Rooms are very clean with great views and although we were unsure at being on the 7th floor, the view was great, overlooking one of the beaches and beyond. The unusual and surprising bonus are the numerous shaded areas within the trees on many different levels, giving shade and privacy with sun beds. Pool area also very shaded, medium size pool , sadly weather not warm enough for us to use it but we did make the most of the gorgeous warm indoor pool which is available for all guests to use from 7 am until 8 pm. Towels were provided and the gym was well equipped. Trekking tours arranged to visit many nearby villages and the hotel was full of cyclists making the most of the hilly terrain and lovely local scenery. What we did miss not having tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms, it would make a difference to us personally, but loved the carafe in the room which you can fill with cold water from the water dispensers on each floor and in reception, invaluable when the weather is at its best.

nice hotel near the beach,very nice room with facilities,balcony overlooking the pool with beach view,fridge,hairdryer,safe.staff very friendly.Breakfast buffet style plenty of options.

Great choice for triathletes and well situated
This is a well situated hotel with a mainly German clientele - the facilities are good and the staff are friendly apart from in the cycle rental workshop who are only interested if you are on a cycling specific package (and rude if you are not). Good Hotel for the Challenge Mallorca triathlon.

The hotel facility was fine but there were many things to dislike. The overall vibe was a lot like a cruise... mediocre buffet meals with assigned seating. They charged us for pool chairs and beach towels, and we had to kick people out of our assigned chairs every day. None of this was explained at check-in so it was quite awkward to us and many others. It should be known too that this hotel and surrounding area cater to the German tourist. Everything is translated into German and the staff speak German as their second language. Very tough for the other tourists who were trying to converse in English.

Cyclists Hotel
A return trip, which speaks volumes. The one factor that sets this hotel apart is its location in a cliff-face between 2 bays. The outlook is stunning; the full panoramic dining room, the many sunbathing terraces from the pool down to the beach and the views from the rooms. Additionally, the food is great, the staff are friendly and the basement bike shop/workshop/bike hire/safe storage/free bananas just caps the whole package off nicely.

Great hotel in fair location.
Great hotel with good room and great dining-room. We were possibly the only Brits, the majority of guests being German. Local area good for walking, particularly if you have a car. Paguera town not really to our taste.

very good hotel close to the beach
The hotel Universal Lido Park condition was very good and looks as if it had been recently refurbished. The double room was light airy very clean and tidy. The room was made up every day and bedding changed mid week. The beds are on the firm side but reasonably comfortable. Our room had a walk in shower, and air con on demand. There are no tea making facilities in the room and if this is important then bring your own. The staff were very good, extremely obliging and those on reception spoke very good english. As we don't speak German, or Spanish then we had one or two interesting conversations with some bar staff but generally we didn't have many problems. Overall the staff were cheerful and welcoming and competent at their jobs. Peguera is extremely popular with German and French Tourists, the majority of restaurant menus reflect this, again the bar/ restaurant staff generally could speak English . Public Transport links to Palma were good and cheap. The hotel could summon a Taxis on demand so getting around is realitively easy. The area is extremely clean and well cared for, we would not have a problem returning to the Peguera area.

Excellent location
Down steps on each side of hotel to two excellent sandy beaches crystal clear sea, stunning views of bays from pool area, Hotel room great sea views, excellent food, breakfast on outdoor terrace looking out to sea. Sunbed charge . On arrival late at night we were told overbooked , so by taxi where put up in another hotel for night, bit disappointed, but hotel gave us a room extension on last day An free sunbeds. We would return loved it.

Lobbe staff did not have the professionality of how to treat customers: I reserved a superior room 1- The English language spoken of lobbe employers was very poor. I asked for a car rental, and they told me that it would be available for rental the next day in the morning. The informed me that I have to provide them with the payment method when I revive the car. On the next, they did not call me confirming that the.car is ready to. E picked up, so I decided to spend my for sea activities. When I came back to the hotel, they enforced me to pay for the car rental, and It was not confirmed by an official paper. 2- When I made my checkout, i wanted to leave my bag at the lobbe, and they asked me to put by myself at their bags storage room, not that I paid for a superior rooo.

Good Hotel. 100% German occupied
The hotel was good.Tidy rooms, helpful reception. Good restaurant and places do dine Alfresco. Food was good with plenty of selection. Swim pool area was very good and plenty of sun beds which you could hire in a specified place for 14 Euros a week. We was happy with the spare ones, plenty of availability. Occupied totally by Germans as was the resort, everything written in German. Beaches were pleasant but did spend the days going around in our car....Port Andrax and Camp de Mar were really pleasant. Do not go to this hotel if you like some banter around the pool even if you are fluent in German!!Good quality....low on laughs

Well situated hotel in a lovely resort
We loved Paguera and the location of the hotel. The room and facilities in the hotel were excellent. However we did not agree with paying for Wifi. Also dining should be on a free - sitting basis, with more vegetarian and vegan options, and sunbeds should not be reservable (most of the reserved ones were not being used). In addition, there was no entertainment on 2 of the 4 nights that we stayed.

Reasonable hotel.
Very quiet in surrounding area at this time. Hotel catered for large groups of Geman/Austrian walking parties this time of year. I was there to cycle, cycling people in shop, not helpful. Food buffet reasonable only. Pay for water and wine extra.

Great winter short break
Feb 2016: Lovely hotel, on beach with great sea/beach view from our upper room 504. Recently refurbished downstairs (bar, lounge, dining room). Food choice and quality very good.Bedrooms could do with an update. Very small bath, shower good. 99% German/Swiss. No tourist guides/info in English. Hotel sunloungers have to be hired May-Oct, 14 euros a week!! One way to avoid the 'towels on sunbeds at dawn' scenario I suppose but having to pay for a sunlounger is ridiculous!

I like the Hotel. Friendly people, clean, everything nearly great. The only thing which drives me crazy are the two elevators. Sometimes you have wait several minutes and the elevators are passing my floor several times without stopping. But I would definitely come back.

Dejligt ophold på Hotel Univeral Hotel Lido Park.
Vi har haft 3 fremragende dage på hotellet. Værelset fint og rent. Vi fik vasket gulv hver dag på badeværelset.Stort udvalg både ved morgenmaden og aftenbuffeten.Fint at vi kunne tage renset vand hver dag, så vi ikke skulle ud at købe og undgå plastik! Fin underholdning om aftenen. Personalet var søde og venlige. Dejligt at man bruge solsengene frit på hotelområdet. Der var ikke langt til havet derfra. Alt i alt i rigtigt dejligt ophold, som jeg kun kan anbefale.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und man hat von fast jeden Zimmer aus Meerblick. Schade ist, dass jedoch im Speisesaal einige Sachen fehlten und morgens z.B. immer zu wenig Teekännchen vorhanden waren oder Eierbecher fehlten. Im Service waren fast alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Lage: Top Lage direkt am Meer/Strand. Bushaltestelle zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreichbar. Perguera ist ebenfalls super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Hotel: Super ausgestattetes Hotel mit schönem neu renovierten Restaurant - die Aussicht hier ist wunderschön. Toller Spa-Bereich, nette Lobby, kleiner aber feiner Pool und toll angelegtem Außenbereich - Terassenförmige schattige Liegeflächen mit einer großen Anzahl an Liegestühlen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Wasserspender auf jedem Stockwerk - hier kann man immer Wasserflaschen und die Karaffen, die es auf den Zimmern gibt, nachfüllen. Ideal bei den heißen Temperaturen. Zimmer: Klimatisierte, moderne Zimmer. Größe ist ideal. Es gibt genug Stauraum und die Aussicht vom Balkon ist traumhaft. Das Bad und vor allem die Dusche ist riesig und alles ist sehr sauber. Auch im Bad gibt es genug Abstellfläche und die bereitgestellten Seifen riechen sehr angenehm. Essen & Trinken: Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich super. Es gab eine große Auswahl, sodass jeder etwas finden sollte. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und füllt alles blitzschnell nach - auch kurz vor Schluss. Wir haben immer sehr gut gegessen. Auch die Snack-Bar hat eine tolle Auswahl und wir haben diese an unseren "Strand-Tagen" gerne genutzt. Die Cocktailauswahl ist überschaubar, aber lecker. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Urlaub und ein toller Aufenthalt im Universal Hotel Lido & Spa.
