The staff was very friendly and helpful, my double room was clean, spacious and quiet except for the door you access from elevator hallway to rooms. Need to adjust the hydraulics for the door to quietly close instead of slamming shut each time..
Walking distance to really nice restaurants, shops and pubs.

The hotel felt a little run down with only one lift in operation. Breakfast was ok, the staff were responsive once I had pointed out that some of the food needed replenishing, eg fried eggs, ham and cheese.
