As is befitting for a capital city, Manila often plays hosts to major events and sporting fixtures throughout the year and many of them are held here in Malate. Attend events at the Palacio de Maynila, a striking white and green venue facing the water. Malate is located south of Ermita in Manila City, part of the wider metropolitan area of Metro Manila. Ride a bus into the district and explore the compact neighborhood on foot.
