"Lovely neighborhood, centrally located, and clean space. There was a helpful map included in the room. Most major points of interest in Kanazawa were a reasonable walk from the location. They ability to do laundry was nice after the busier parts of our trip. It is nice to have an option to sleep on tatami or a modern bed in the same space."

"I have zero complaints! The staff were amazing, the property and area it's in were beautiful, and overall it really made our stay in Kanazawa special. I highly recommend this place. Just be warned that if you have any mobility issues, the stairs going upstairs are very steep. "

"This ryokan has been in Bungo’s family for over 130 years. The amenities are clean and functional if dated. The service was fantastic—Bungo preemptively welcomed us to Kanazawa be way of detailed, helpful email. Upon checkin, he gave us a thorough tour and guidance around the facilities and even called a local restaurant to help us with reservations.
