Beautiful house & location

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the house and the peaceful location with beautiful views. We enjoyed the foxes playing in the morning and the pony next door. The grounds are gorgeous and beautiful views with nice sunsets.

Breathtaking View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Penescal. The drive up to the house does require an adventurer's spirit - it's steep and the road is bumpy - but once you get into the house THE VIEW IS FANTASTIC. The yard, patio, and pool were very well maintained and we had many meals and cocktails while watching the ocean and sunsets. The house could use a few updates, so if you like modern or luxury maybe this isn't your house, but the house had everything we needed. Plus the neighbor has a PONY and that was everything to my kids. We went on many day trips while there - Grenada, Ronda, Antequera, Gibraltar - and with the grocery store at the entrance to the neighborhood it was simple and cost-effective. If you're looking for great views and homey-ness with teens, this is a great house for you.
