"The hotel is modern and the staff are very accommodating. It’s also right next to the beach. If you are going out of season be aware lots of things are closed, especially the restaurants. They only open two days a week out of season. Don’t let this put you off though. It’s a beautiful location. We used it as a stop of between Napoli and Rome."

"The place is very nice and modern and clean but the only thing that we have issue with was the internet and we couldn’t contact host and the room temperature was warm uncomfortable for us and you couldn’t adjust to a lower temperature to cool the room because it was locked by owner. "

"We enjoyed our stay at ll Casale. The views are amazing. We enjoyed our time in the pool and bbq ing in the evening. Paola was very helpful and friendly. We used the local shops at Piazza S Erasmo below the villa, the meat from the butcher Macelleria Davide was excellent and ate at Il Tempo Ritrovato in the square. You do need a car, but we did walk down and back to the square and Formia using the steep path outside villa. Ideal place for visiting Pompeii we caught the train there and also the bus to Gaeta. Would highly recommend Il Casale."
