"The place is old, but was refurbished in years past. The closet door mirror was broken. Black ants in the bathroom. On the positive side, it was one minute away from FDR's house and library, and a little bit away from a new shopping center with a supermarket. The guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was waffles and oatmeal; some fruit was out to grab. Hyde Park is not what we expected. The town looks tired. It needs updating in many areas, but at least there is new commerce coming in here and there."

"What an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, it was clear so much thought and care went into every detail of this apartment. The decor is absolutely adorable — charming, cozy, and so intentional. You can tell the host truly loves what they do.Speaking of the host — incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the start.The bed was so comfortable we slept like a dream, and the towels were impressively soft (small detail, big impact!). The space itself was spotless and filled with those little touches that make a stay feel special rather than just functional.Bonus: there's a store right downstairs with great food options — super convenient and a nice surprise!This was the perfect stopover and honestly exceeded our expectations. If you're passing through and need a place to stay, look no further. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would love to come back. 10/10! "

"Perfect spot for anything Marist-related, thoughtfully appointed with things we don't even know we needed, like a handheld steamer, there were fresh flowers and fresh local donuts (which were delicious!), very comfortable beds and very responsive owners. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This home was perfect for our stay. It was spacious and clean. There is beautiful outside space which was a bonus! It is a unique property which has been renovated. It is an older home, so there are typical creaks and groans which one would expect -- not an issue for us. The kitchen was well stocked with quality equipment and basic supplies. The living space is up a set of stairs, which might prove slightly challenging for someone with mobility issues. Again, not an issue for us. One of the bedrooms is en-suite; the other two have the second bath right across the hall. The beds and the furnishings were very comfortable. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway. The hosts were very responsive. This home was perfect for our needs."
