"The place is old, but was refurbished in years past. The closet door mirror was broken. Black ants in the bathroom. On the positive side, it was one minute away from FDR's house and library, and a little bit away from a new shopping center with a supermarket. The guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was waffles and oatmeal; some fruit was out to grab. Hyde Park is not what we expected. The town looks tired. It needs updating in many areas, but at least there is new commerce coming in here and there."

The decor is absolutely adorable — charming, cozy, and so intentional. You can tell the host truly loves what they do.Speaking of the host — incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the start.The bed was so comfortable we slept like a dream, and the towels were impressively soft (small detail, big impact!). The space itself was spotless and filled with those little touches that make a stay feel special rather than just functional.Bonus: there's a store right downstairs with great food options — super convenient and a nice surprise!This was the perfect stopover and honestly exceeded our expectations. If you're passing through and need a place to stay, look no further. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would love to come back. 10/10! "
