"I recently stayed at Arc La Rambla as a solo female traveler and felt very safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated how kind and attentive all of the staff were. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and they would always acknowledge me with a hello or goodbye when I was coming and going, even if they were helping other guests. It’s a small gesture, but one that really stood out to me when traveling alone. A couple of the amenities in my room had issues when I first arrived, including the lockbox and phone, but staff immediately sent someone up to repair or replace them. I don’t usually have housekeeping come into my room during a stay, but one day I forgot to put the tag on my door. When I returned, everything had been cleaned, the towels were changed, the bed was made, and anything I had left out was neatly placed back in the same spot so it was easy to find. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony area where I could step outside or hang wet clothes to dry. My room faced the neighboring buildings with a partial view of a street going uphill and the hotel’s patio area. I also really appreciated being given a corner room, which offered a little extra privacy as a solo traveler. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend Arc La Rambla, especially to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Barcelona."

"Location is amazing! I had stayed many years ago and loved it then too. The room was clean, bright, modern and had a great view of Gaudi chimneys! Breakfast was good, continental with lots of choice. The ladies on reception were lovely, friendly and helpful. Also patient with my doubtful Spanish! The man at reception was not. He seemed to prefer looking at his computer, when I asked for more shower gel, please, he made a big deal of getting one tiny bottle from a drawer. I had to ask for another as there are were two people in our room. A kettle can be borrowed from reception for a small, refundable, deposit."
