"Beautiful hotel, great staff and decent food. Unfortunately we went in January so it was a bit cold at times. Also, the area around the hotel is not that developed; activists/shopping/sightseeing outside the hotel are typical over an hour away by car."
"The hotel is in a very remote location—great for diving, but there’s little else to do. The pool and the sea were beautiful, and the view from the room was nice. However, the food was disappointing, and the nearby towns were overcrowded tourist traps. An okay stay, but not ideal if you’re looking for variety."

"The hotel is a bit old, but still comfortable. The staff is super kind. Usually calm, the last few days a bit less due to some children that were allowed to run and shout all over (even during dinner) by their parents. "Great location for snorkelling - house reef is in good condition. The reef is accessable from a hetty which is regulated by lifeguards who sign you in and out of the water for your safety as the water is generally quite rough.
The reef inland is very shallow but great for novices and children to swim/snorkel safely. The hitel has activities throughout the day as well as evening entertainment. Food has variety for all dietry needs and is buffet style. Rooms are very clean, hotel offers other services for extra charge such as use of the spa. I had 5 sessions with Fatima who I would highly recommend! Overall, this hotel is as described."

The house reef and lagoon are great (although the reef is clearly showing signs of climate change - far fewer fish and much less thriving corals). The massages are great. The gardens are outstanding. "This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. Not only were the rooms filthy, but they also scammed us by overcharging for laundry services. The pathways around the hotel were uneven and dangerous, and the stairs were incredibly slippery. We even witnessed a staff member slip and injure himself! This place is a safety hazard and a complete rip-off. Save your money and stay far away from this hotel."
"I would like to share with you the wonderful time we had over two weeks at the Jaz Riviera. I have been coming to Egypt for over 20 years and have to say the new style of hotels are a great format for European travelers. The hotel and gardens are immaculate and kept very clean. The pool is heated in the winter months as the hotel is only 2 months old. The pool Italian was my favorite with freshly stone backed pizzas and amazing staff who make this hotel. Thanks to the staff in the pool bar for making my trip engaging and welcoming with always attentive service.

Sometimes you always forget the gardeners and cleaning staff but they keep this hotel so clean and that adds to the experience. The gardens are beautiful just like the beaches.
