"Parking lot was full every night. Many oversized vehicles parked in compact spaces and truck/trailers taking up multiple spaces so I had to park down the road on the street. This felt very unsafe and I would not recommend it to solo female travelers. "

"I really liked the location of this Hilton Garden. There were so many shops, restaurants, drugstores, gas stations, grocery stores and bank writhin a few blocks or few feet. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, nice modern touches. Lots of lighting choices and the reading lights were great for a little bright light, and the housekeepers were so nice. They had a lot of pride in their work and always helpful. Tipping her was deserved. The bar downstairs is a little pricey for drinks, but they were good drinks and the bartender was so sweet and friendly. Dan at the front desk was personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. Dan always had a smile and was invested in making sure your stay was good. He texted several times to make sure everything was going well. I appreciated that because I had another place I had chosen to stay but it was not up to my standards, so I came to Hilton Garden Waverly Walk. Great decision. A draw back is not enough green space for dogs. A small fenced area would be great, just due to the traffic. My dog is deaf and she couldn’t hear vehicles nearby. The downstairs market was nice but needed more salad choices and dressings for late arrivals. The wine selection and beer/seltzer selections were good. Just needed glasses nearby for use. Prices were ok. Parking was good. Close by was the parking garage. The neighborhood was beautiful and easy to walk. I give my stay a huge “10” out of “10” and will definitely stay again.Thanks everyone! Sharon"

"We did not use the hot tub. We did not cook but the kitchen was well stock for cooking. "

"The location was great just a 5 minute ride to the great Waxhaw downtown. Maggie did communicate well. The interior was clean.Those were the pluses. However...The exterior was terrible. The small house looked like it hadnt been painted in YEARS. The pictures were deceiving. The side fence is half falling down. There is a sign saying keep off the grass , and there are weeds growing everywhere. The square footage was described as 300 square feet.No way! Its about 200 square feet, and that includes the bathroom which is probably 50.My wife and I stayed here for 12 days.Not good for 2 people! We were tripping over one another.. It may have been okay for 1 night, or okay for a single person for a couple of nights.Unfortunately we couldnt wait to get out.We ended up having a good vacation because we stayed in Charleston a couple of days and were able to meet a few friends, and the location of this place was close to town, but next visit will be a hotel for sure."

"We needed a home for a week close to our own while we had some renovations done. We were pleased to find the Marvin House and had a wonderful stay. The home is on a few acres, and our dog was able to enjoy running through the back property during the day. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone needing a clean and cozy place in the south Charlotte area."
