"Very nice hotel, lots of helpful staff at check-in, even if you don't speak Japanese. Super nice rooms: clean, modern, AC works well, comfortable bathing, in shower shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Like most hotel rooms in Japan, the space is super compact, not a lot of room for our carry-on suitcases, never mind a full sized one. We had a package shipped to us and the staff hand-delivered it to our room promptly. Walking distance easily from nearest subway stop. Easy walk to busy district, walkable to baseball stadium. We walked 15" to an old book district. Safe area. We had dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant; it was pricy, and maybe bc we were there close to closing, I was a little underwhelmed by some of the food, but that's been my experience with most hotel restaurants. I'd look elsewhere for dinner."

"The staff here was amazing and super helpful. I stayed here at the beginning of my 24 day trip and had booked another hotel for when I returned from Osaka and Kyoto. I cancelled the other hotel and stayed again prior to my leaving Japan. The rooms are small but the staff makes up for that. They all go above and beyond to ensure comfort and a great time."

"We love the Tokyo Station Hotel. It is perfectly located for getting the Shinkansen to Osaka or Kyoto after your stay, no taxis or trains required to get to your gate, which is a huge bonus. The rooms are quiet. The buffet breakfast is superb with a huge selection of both Japanese and Western items available. The Oak Bar is an excellent place for cocktails. My only critique of the hotel is that it takes a deposit of 2.5 times the cost of your stay as security on your card, even if you have prepaid the amount in full in advance of your stay. I know most hotels charge a security "hold" deposit but we have travelled widely and stay at 5 star properties and in nearly all cases, the security deposit has never been more than one night's stay. I find their policy of holding 2.5 times your total stay on your card excessive, especially since the credit card company (in Australia) takes 10 days to release pending charges, so you have to keep that in mind in terms of how much space your have left on your card for the charges. Apart from that aspect, it is truly one of the world's great hotels."

"Japanese hospitality at its best. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Palace Hotel. I stayed at two different hotels during my visit to Tokyo, and The Palace was the perfect way to end my trip. It was relaxing, serene, and the service was exceptional throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend The Palace Hotel."

"Had the corner room which had a wonderful view over Tokyo Station. The room itself was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tight for the room size. Both the buffet and Japanese breakfast were good. Staff was friendly and helpful."
