The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the way we travel, but it hasn't put the brakes on our love of exploring. Here are a few tips on how to tackle the new challenges of travelling:

• Find out what, if any, rules or restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check before you book your flight.
• When you go through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it for ID purposes. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be fined and denied boarding.
• Instead of handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. After that, hold it up for inspection.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. You'll have to remove it for X-ray scanning.
• Empty everything from your pockets, such as your phone, keys and wallet, and place them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• If you want to take food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.

As countries begin to lift travel restrictions, airlines have resumed services with new measures including social distancing and enhanced disinfection measures. Here's what a number of carriers are doing to help limit the spread of COVID-19:
