"The hotel is very well located, the staff are friendly and attentive, everything is clean, breakfast is good, and the parking is right under the building (although the directions they give for how to access it make it sound like it is up a block). The off-putting part is that the rooms are extremely small. There is not even enough space to roll a suitcase into your room, and the ceilings are low. The impression is that the company tried to squeeze as many rooms into the building as it possibly could. Quite frankly it was somewhat claustrophobic. It is also a very busy hotel with only a couple of elevators which means that you wait quite some time everytime you need to take it."

"The property is in a good location within walking distance to various attractions eg The Eton Centre which is a big shopping mall with lovely shops and a huge food court. The staff were exceptional; friendly and always ready to help. It was clean throughout the hotel and the buffet breakfast was very good. The chef came out a couple of times to chat to us which was a nice touch. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. 10 out of 10."

"I was very disappointed in this booking. The check in process was very tough. I wasn't able to get in touch with someone until after 1.5 hours. I called multiple times and no one ever answered. Also the shower curtain kept falling. ALSO POOL IS NOT AVAILABLE TO GUESTS! Over all very over priced and poor communication."

Fort York Suites Toronto

"My stay at Fort York Suites was extremely disappointing. I traveled to Toronto with a friend for a music festival, and while the location was excellent—within walking distance of the venue, the CN Tower, and Liberty Village—that was the only positive aspect of the experience. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. There is no front desk or on-site staff, and international travelers must complete several pre-check-in requirements that were never clearly communicated during booking. As a result, it took us nearly 90 minutes to gain access to our suite. Once inside, we discovered the air conditioning was not working. Despite being turned on, the room remained around 80°F throughout our stay. I contacted management immediately, but instead of fixing the issue, they simply emailed instructions on how to operate the thermostat. The AC was clearly broken, and no effort was made to resolve it. The bathtub was also dirty upon arrival. For the price paid, the lack of cleanliness, communication, and customer support was unacceptable. I also contacted Expedia multiple times seeking assistance and a partial refund. The property management company eventually stopped responding altogether, while Expedia repeatedly advised me to wait for a response that never came. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that I would not recommend."

Palmerston Luxe Hotel

"This is not a HOTEL. This is an apartment that is being rented out as a "hotel room". When I arrived to the location, a police officer was outside and he said that it was not a hotel but a resident building. To not go into the building since it could not be safe. I spoke to the information sent by Hotels.com and the number they use was on WhatsApp. I even went to the original location given which was in a really bad neighborhood with only bodegas, cigar stores and other simple stores. I call the supposed attendant for this location they were not helpful. I spoke to the officer and he said to file a police report. I tried to cancel with Hotels.com and they said to wait 72hrs for the correction. By the next day the supposed manager for this location stated that he will not give the refund, even though I never accepted to stay and the predicament that they put me through. They said that I should've accepted it and work with them. Hotels.com also did not helped me with the situation. I have to wait until it gets posted to create a case with my bank to get my money bank. Never again will I trust Hotels.com. DO NOT USE THIS PROPERTY. IT IS A SCAM!"

The Loft - The Brick Hotel

"The unit is essentially brand new and was fully appointed with all the expected amenities. It even had a microwave which was not listed in the amenities list. The neighborhood is in a great downtown location, vibrant, eclectic, diverse and fun. The apartment was also quiet at night. There were some issues worth mentioning. The unit has only one bath, not one and one half baths as listed. The unit entrance is at the rear, in a lane/alley. Arriving at night there was very little lighting. The entry door was not marked either with an address # or any other identification. There was also graffiti on the rear building wall and a pile of leaves and trash just steps from the door which did not make a good impression. And while there was parking in paid lots close by, it is not correct to say it is “onsite.” That said, the host was very responsive and cooperative with any questions or issues we had, particularly when we were arriving."
