"Wonderful staff everywhere where at the resort"

"Due to unexpected flight delay I wasn’t able to reach the hotel at the time I expected to. I was expected to arrive at 3am so decided that I could crash at friends place instead of hotel. I contacted the hotel however they made no exceptions or waivers and I was charged for the full night. I’ve had two past expériences where myself or my friend had to request cancellation on exception basis and those 3 star hotels have been very helpful and understanding. Wasn’t expecting this from Fairmont."

"Our stay was amazing, we were staying with our dog and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and received dog friendly amenities like a pet bowl and dog bed. We also received a complimentry welcome gift for our anniversary. Room and bathroom were clean with all required necessities for your stay, and you have a TV that can easily chromecast and allow seamless checkout. I would have provided 5 stars if not for the encounter we had prior to us leaving the hotel. We decided to step out to the well nearby before leaving to get food and on the way back to the hotel since it was hot our dog was panting. My husband decided to ask front concierge if we could get a waterbottle before heading to our car, and the girl working the front gave a puzzled look almost with some attitude and goes "water bottles? no we absolutely dont sell water bottles, do you want me to direct you to a dollarama?" This rubbed me the wrong way as normally - concierge should politely be able to check for you surely for water. Not sure if she thought we weren't staying there and just randomly walked in for a water bottle. Thankfully, the male concierge working with her was able to say "let me check for you in the kitchen" and came out with a water bottle for us. Apart from this incident, the staff were very kind to us during our stay."
