Comfortable, relaxing beach house! All the comforts of home.
The house was beautiful, located on a sugar sand beach in a quiet fishing village. It was just a stroll out the door to be swimming in the lovely waters. Natalia thought of everything we could possibly have needed -- the house is well equipped for cooking, as well as being nearby delicious local restaurants. We absolutely loved it - time spent relaxing on the back porch, on the beach, and sipping coffee during a glorious sunrise are memories I will cherish. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Natalia has a great house. Clean and spacious. Right on the beach. 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Perfect for 2 couples or one family. We had great communication with Natalia and she was a big help with recommendations for restaurants (many within easy walking distance). Highly recommend !!!

Great location on Zanzibar
A very private villa right on the beach at Matemwe. Well designed with lovely bedrooms and bathrooms as well as comfortable outdoor seating area. Very good restaurants close by that you could walk up or down the beach to. Very relaxing spot and the owner and property manager were very responsive and professional. a great place to visit and hang out after our safari on the mainland.

Highly Recommend This Private & Peaceful Paradise at Bao Beach Villa
We’ve just returned from a 5-night stay at this lovely home on the beach. It was even more beautiful in person! After 5 days of game drives, this was a much-needed slice of island paradise! The 3 separate seating areas outside were a treat and made it difficult to choose where to lounge daily between excursions :) We did not rent a car so Natalia was a huge help daily in arranging for a driver. Our intention was to shop and cook meals at the house, but there were several hotel restaurants right along the beach on either side of the property so we ate out every evening. One local restaurant has excellent live music on certain nights and Natalia will let you know when. The house has all of the comforts of home and is very spacious if you have a family or group. There is a generous stock of water and drinks if you don’t feel like shopping. While the weather was very hot during our visit, the air con in the bedrooms was a welcome luxury for sleeping. We felt very safe, comfortable, and well-taken care of at Bao Beach Villa. And the WiFi was a nice added touch. Thanks for everything, Natalia! You helped us make our visit to Africa a trip of a lifetime! Your U.S. Friends, Chris and Vanessa K.

Perfect Home for a Wonderful Vacation!
We loved the week we spent in Zanzibar at Natalia and Michal's home! They were the perfect hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Natalia arranged our transport from the airport and was at the house to meet us when we arrived. She took us through all the details of the home and area. She arranged a personal shopper for our grocery needs and arranged all our excursions for the week. It was the perfect combination of privacy and the resort-style amenities that make a vacation so easy. The home is even better than the pictures show. They have gone out of their way to create an upscale environment. We cooked most days and the kitchen is well-stocked with Western style amenities. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was so appreciated and a definite must for hot Zanzibar nights. The beach is great for relaxing in the water and high tide and for exploring the tide pools at low tide. We came with our three children and the home/beach was perfect for us. However, it would also be a fantastic property for a romantic getaway. Several great restaurants are a short walk away along the beach front, and the whole area feels very safe. The house is extremely private; we loved having our own beach-front place to ourselves for a week. We are very particular in our expectations, and they were far exceeded by this property and hosts. We would recommend this villa to anyone!
