Good parking for the area. Reception, restaurant and bar have had a referb but rooms are in need of complete referb. On arrival our bathroom had not been cleaned and in a bit of a state, ( not very happy 🤔) however we went to reception to complain, Stuart the receptionist was first class very polite ...

Great location, but no security as anyone could enter the lobby and accommodation floors via unsecured lifts.

Lovely people but im biased i have family here
We went to participate in the Great North Run. Hotel was in a fab position, close to the beach and lots of shops/ bars. Far enough to be peaceful. Perfect.
Best sea side location, clean, lots to do and many historic sites.
Clean and easy walking
