"Even though I turned off air conditioning room got very hot so disturbed nights sleep but everything else I cannot fault. Reception, bar staff all excellent."

"I like the hotel. The location The staff, but the parking situation is a total joke. Its always a struggle. This time i sat in my car for an hr until someone left carpark. This was 13.30.in the afternoon. You would expect it to be empty "

"Superb position, you can hear the waves crashing as you leave the hotel, with stunning views across the road. Even dived in the inviting looking North Sea, which is invigorating! Parking is limited, but is free after 6pm at a large carpark a short stroll away. Excellent cooked breakfast from 6:30 to 10am which suited my fine - really friendly staff; even asked if I needed anything for my room each day which was a lovely touch. Room in need of a bit of decorating, but was very clean and provided everything I needed including tea/coffee making facility. Very good fish and chip shop nearby but look out for the starlings - they're actually very sweet! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Whitley Bay! "
