"As with most hotels in the $50-$70 per night range there are bound to be pro's and cons...pro's are the location is fairly convenient after leaving the Cuomo Bridge, the first exit, then about 10 min. to the hotel in Orangeburg. The hotel is in a residential area, so feeling unsafe was not a factor and parking was free and plentiful. Cons...The kid at the front desk was friendly, but very uninformed...when I asked if the hotel had an ice machine, he looked stunned and had no clue and seemed to care less. So, after check-in I looked for one and found it on the first floor, but it was not working, so on a hunch I checked on the 2nd floor in the same location and VIOLA!, there was a working ice machine...but, since there was no ice bucket in the room I had to fill up a plastic supermarket bag and put it in my soft-cooler and then into the fridge...which luckily did work. The room itself was OK, I had stayed at the Armani before so I knew what to expect...no microwave, only 1 in the lobby for some reason...lame! The room carpet clearly had not been sufficiently vacuumed as I found left-over cheerios and some other weird stuff laying about. The bathroom was fine, clean and the shower was hot with plenty of pressure, but there was a crack in the mirror. All n All this place needs a major upgrade, seems to be dyin...The lounge downstairs looked like it was abandoned, reminded me of a post-apocalypse scene from a movie...But, as I said for cheap money, you can't expect much more."

"Second time staying here, property is beautiful but our room needed some serious TLC. We had to ask to have our shower curtain swapped out bc it smelled so baldly of mildew and the room was not properly cleaned. We found a pill, sunflower seed and other random debris on the carpet. And these weren’t found in the depths of the corners but in plain view to anyone who should have been cleaning. We enjoy staying here otherwise but they do need to be better"

"Room 400's bathtub had black organic growth all along the end of the tub near the drain. Very visible. Not sure why it has not been removed. The bath towels were small. The rest of the room was clean. Overall, the hotel was nice for a dated building. It is ready for a renovation. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was typical free breakfast."

"Amazing stay came for a training / solo trip my stay was amazing! Room was clean had great sized room, and staff was always willing to help! 10/10 recommend!! Will def stay again!"

"Hotel grounds were nicely kept, but it seemed like the room hadn’t been looked at in a while. Lots of dust on the vents and the shower/tub had a real hard time draining. Staff at the front desk couldn’t provide me a bandaid and the bonvoy app wasn’t working which makes ordering food difficult. One day I was connected to person who took my order over the phone and delivered something close to what I ordered. The second day I called and then said it wasn’t possible to order on the phone but then connected me to a different number that went to voicemail. I was also really surprised to see that there was delivery fee for room service. I’m already paying to stay and for the rooms service. I’ve never seen a delivery fee for room service before. It made a cup of tea an $11 purchase which is wild. That’s a bigger delivery fee than most restaurants in the area."
