We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked.

Room was clean but dated and bland. Very stuffy, only curtains at window no blinds or nets. Bed was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Room was described as Superior we would describe it as basic.
